Absolutely love the SBMM. I’ll admit it’s sweatier but that’s good and it’s making me a better player. It’s no longer getting stomped by a 6 stack or walking over the next team cause 1-2 elite players are on my team pushing 30+ kills. Every 7 or so games getting an even match. Absolutely love it and hope you all start making Destiny PVP great again!!!!

11 RepliesI don't have a problem with sbmm, I'm a 1.5 kd player that goes flawless usually. Im not sure were to place myself on the skill scale, i would guess im average at best. One thing I will say is keep sbmm out of trials, and when those same players that love sbmm play trials they will be in for a surprise when the competitive flood gates open.

Destiny great again? When was it ever great to begin with?
-
11 RepliesThat's great! I think a lot of players are playing more Crucible and making small improvements. I hope the population numbers keep rising It will be great if SBMM lasts until Lightfall, and we can entice a whole new group of players into playing (and enjoying) Crcucible!

57 RepliesSBMM is unironically the worst thing to ever happen to PvP, and I'm not exaggerating. And I was in favor of loose SBMM/outlier protection. But this... This is just complete trash. It's actually just Ranked. No room for error, no room for memes, insanely high latency...

16 RepliesYou have a lifetime killsof less than 10,000. YOU DO NOT OLAY ENOUGH CRUCIBLE FOR YOUR OPINION TO MATTER.

2 RepliesI’m enjoying it too. For me it feels less sweaty. Do I try? Sure. But not that much. Not nearly as much as I used to at times. And I’ve been having fun with different play styles. It feels more like when you’re playing for fun with friends and family in split screen or a LAN party. You want to win, and it feels good when you do, but the moment to moment experiences in the match feel so much fun that taking a Loss barely registers. I want Bungie to find a way that above average and highly skilled players can also have a fun experience. I don’t think going 100% back to 100% CBMM in crucible is the way to go. But I hope there is a solution that these players don’t always feel like they have to play hard, where the margin for error is much less forgiving than in my skill bracket, where their match times can be maybe 120 seconds or less, with decent enough connections. I have thoughts on how, but not my call. In the mean time I’ll continue to enjoy SBMM again, like I did 3 years ago. I’m a bot walking scrub and I don’t care, and I still want to have fun. I’m happy for the change.

3 RepliesIt’s extremely hit or miss with me. Sometimes it feels like I can keep grinding and leveling my BxR without worrying hard about trying to win, and those games are close games, win or lose. However, most of my games have been extremely sweaty, with people leaving during games. Team balancing is still terrible, having 2-3 teams of 2 on the opposite team, and all randoms with me is still a huge issue. And I’ve definitely lost more than I’ve won.
-
Honestly I am happy your enjoying however, we need Bungie to go back to locking exclusive gear: weapons, shaders, emblems etc. To the higher to top level skill tiers. If lower skill players are improving like they say they are then exclusive ranking gear shouldn't be a problem.
-
3 RepliesWhy do you people love rigged matches and forced 50% W/L ratios?
-
I also love sbmm let these sweat kids feed on eachother I could not care less finally bungie is catering to the ppl who matter

11 RepliesEdited by SoulReaper070492: 9/2/2022 10:27:56 PMI've seen a massive noticeable difference in how balanced the matches have been and it's much more fun now yh you may have to sweat still to win but there's an actual learning curve now compared to CBMM yh the system may take a tad longer to find a decent match but I'll take that over anything else, so far most matches I've done have been so close to being tied or a very slight difference in score

3 RepliesFew suggestions for PVP Dedicated PVP playlist for people with OV KD 0.50< and New Lights to protect them while they learn game basic, build characters and doing some games for fun. Pinnacles and rewards included. PvP modes in the dedicated playlist would be Control , Elim and Clash. Weekly Playlist available. Normal PVP game mode for all players: Control Playlist & others CBMM with Rank lobby balancing. That means every team has 6 players, each player belong to a rank, (ELO based like multiple games, destiny 2 tracker actually works like that) ---> 1 Diamond/Legionaire , 1 Platinum , 1 Gold , 1 Silver , 1 Bronze x1 Rusted vs 1 Diamond/Legionaire , 1 Platinum , 1 Gold , 1 Silver , 1 Bronze x1 Rusted, so each time have similar chance of winning , ELO is the result of KD, Wins, Loadouts etc... every player belong to a rank. In this situation you won't have 6x Bronze facing 6x bronze or 6 diamond vs 6 diamond but you will have a variety games, games will be various, people playing not meta but different loadouts, just having fun, games would be Connection Based aswell so not much laggy. Players in stack of 4+ in dedicated playlist , matchmaking will be stack v stack. Quitter Penalty for people who quit more than 3 games in 1h of play, timeouts. Energy Super given to any player who join an already started game based on INT value.

2 RepliesIts -blam!- once you get so high once I hit top diamond in elo all my matches are laggy and with people in europe, asia, and south america. Wish we could chose to region lock Id take the longer wait times over garbage connections.
-
2 RepliesMercy twice this morning in about 4 games. Nothing has changed. I still get garbage teams.
-
1 ReplyI love you
-
Loading times are ridiculously long for me.
-
35 RepliesYou aren’t getting better and if you weren’t getting better before it DEFINITELY wasn’t stacks 😂
-
2 RepliesSbmm is a giant dumpster fire. Plain and simple.
-
4 RepliesYou obviously do not pay attention, six stacking has not changed and sbmm does not work.
-
4 RepliesIt's funny op is happy that he's the one stomping since he mostly plays 0.5kds and then backs out on Bungies forced losses when he goes negative.
