I've seen a massive noticeable difference in how balanced the matches have been and it's much more fun now yh you may have to sweat still to win but there's an actual learning curve now compared to CBMM yh the system may take a tad longer to find a decent match but I'll take that over anything else, so far most matches I've done have been so close to being tied or a very slight difference in score

Pvp guys do not care about winning and loosing in a casual mode.
-
Bullshit and you know it
-
You obviously do not understand casual and we do not rely on random teammates.

-
Then why have you not been playing the modes that have offered what you want the whole time?

Edited by SoulReaper070492: 9/3/2022 1:51:39 AMAlso yh this SBMM has its flaws especially with the lag issues which I won't lie have encountered some laggy lobbies but nothing to -blam!- yet but its still put crucible into a better place for many players and it's also as Bungie said a " work in progress" so only time will truly tell if it gets better connection wise or worse, I mentioned on another post that I recall D1 Rise of Iron era had a MM system that was a even mix of SB and CB and if I recall it was the most balanced Destiny had ever been so hopefully we may see that happen again just hope between then that bungie does something to smooth out the cross play connections
-
Mostly due to the fact that I don't enjoy modes like deathmatch (rumble) and comp got useless after obtaining the rewards from it, also the SBMM in comp is strict as hell and bungie even said so this new Loose SBMM is much more smoother and provides more fairer matches, there was literally nothing fun with how poorly balanced CBMM was when 90% of matches either didn't last not even 4 mins due to mercy or when either side just did nothing but curbstomp there's nothing to learn from with that and I ain't here to sweat I'm here to have fun and I wasn't having that at all last season last I checked that's what games are for and when that starts to fade away then why bother
-
The person you're talking to doesn't even play this game, look at their profile.
-
All fair points but with the current sbmm in effect with its connection issues skill is hindered so no actual skill can be determined. Unfortunately this is something that Bungie will not fix as they said they will only do whatever they can in the system they have, this system will not fix connection because it is the problem.
-
As much as that is true it isn't solely down to SBMM bungie restricted themselves by sticking with Peer to Peer server connection when they moved on from D1 to D2 so primarily they're to blame unfortunately we're stuck with it unless they do decide to at one point make a D3 which seems very unlikely that at crossplay plays a part in the connection issues too but that can be somewhat fixes if Bungie put the time and effort into finding a way to smooth it out but your not wrong but I'm not looking to flex skills or anything just want to enjoy the game while it lasts that said so far I've enjoyed the new system but whether or not that stays the same remains to be seen

it won't stay most likely, most people on here, are so good at making their voices the loudest about how good SBMM is. but in all reality most people do hate it, my friends want to play with my, they gotta suck it up and be curbstomped. My playstation friend, hates his lobbies, because he's not learning anything anymore, he hates my lobbies because he dies so fast to 4 people camping a lane with a pulse rifle. it's a sad reality that SBMM hinders players that wanna play together (not sweating we literally use text chat, and my other friends are the biggest casuals i know, and they do not find crucible fun unless they're playing with me, because i make -blam!- panic sounds when im playing)
