Destiny 2 keeps bricking/freezing my PC

Title says it all. Doesnt really matter what i do in the game, keeps bricking my pc. And by "bricking" i mean that i cant AltF4, ctrl+shift+esc and whatever. This started after the latest update. Things that i have done to try and fix this is the following ->. Updated windows, updated steam, verified game files and at this point nothing worked. Went ape mode and uninstalled steam and Destiny 2 with it. Reinstalled both (the download was painful) and launched the game, problem persists. One thing that gave me hope is that when i switched the game to run in DX11, i got to grind heist battlegrounds for a full evening without any problems whatsoever. So about 8 runs. Went to sleep, and work in the morning. After work i thought id keep grinding the Seraph title, but no. The same problem is back. And i made sure that i had DX11 still opted in. I have played D2 with this same setup for 3 years without any problems. I play the game fullscreen. And D2 is the only game doing this. If you guys have any idea how i can go about fixing this, im all ears. I´ll post my Dxdiag below https://pastebin.com/bXuz0xwK

I had this issue with Mass Effect Legendary edition as well, so it's not only limited to Destiny 2. I'd suspect either GPU driver or Windows update issue. I should add that playing for more than 5 hours in a row has been the most consistent reproduction method.

    • So update. The problem got worse after ydays weekly reset. Cant get past the character selection screen. Choose character -> screen goes black for the obit transition -> freeze. Game updated, files verified, played on dx11, windowed borderless, closed all unnecessary programs, updated drivers (everything i can think of). I have preordered Lightfall, but the way things are going.. I might just gor for the refund. Feels like this is the games way of telling me that the journey ends here. Im all out of ideas. Sure there have been some issues before but not this bad. Feels bad

    • Your graphics drivers look... totally wrong. I don't think you actualy have gaming drivers installed.
Card name: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 Ti Driver File Version: 30.00.0015.1277 (English) Driver Version: 30.0.15.1277
Checking the Nvidia website I'm showing the current drivers should be 528.24, released a few days ago. I'd recommend grabbing the GeForce Experience, as it will automatically check and install drivers. (When you give it the ok to install new drivers it finds.) There is also a crash error from "GameManagerService3". In a quick search that appears to be Synapse related. You should check your Razer Synapse software is up to date. (Though it's pretty notorious for causing conflicts/crashes.)

      • Provide this and someone will investigate your issue.
Press (Windows Key + R) to bring up the Run dialog box, and enter this command “dxdiag” without quotation marks. Click on “Save all information”. Copy the text and use a text dump website (i.e. PasteBin.com) to paste the information. Create a link and post it in your reply.
