Why is rap horrible now?
90% of all rap now is just some stoner putting on auto tune and not finishing syllables. There is no message. No meaning. How are people like immortal technique, prozak, hopsin, and tech n9ne not noticed more for their message? I just don't get it. I guess having some kind of intelligence doesn't sound good anymore.

If it's anything like Rock 'n' Roll, time will filter out the garbage. During the Golden Age of Rock, there were some pretty bad songs out there (we had to listen to them for a History of Rock class), and have long since been forgotten. I'm sure there were some really bad rap artists and songs that were "good" at the time, but have since faded from memory.

There's still that elite few out there doing the damn thing such as DMX, N.O.R.E., Mobb Deep, 8 Ball & MJG, Chingy, Bun B, Mystikal... But 90% of people in this day and age don't bump them (or know who they even are for that matter) because they only hear what's on the radio and automatically deem rap trash. 2 Chainz once said it himself he just delivers stupid, generic lyrics because he knows it sells so while people clown him, he, he makes a couple hundred thousands a year.
