This game feels dead
Very few posts on both LFGs compared to how it used to be. I guess most players really did dip after the Final Shape.

3 RepliesTFS was average IMO. Once I completed, I was overloaded with stuff that was so confusing I had no desire to grind it and I always did before... Then the announcements and I really have no desire to do anything else especially after hearing about the layoffs, and no Destiny 3 or direction for Destiny 2. I have to say, I think this is the end for Destiny/Bungie. I don't think Marathon makes it and you'l either see them pivot to a Destiny 3 or dissolve the studio into Sony.

It is in the death phase for sure, it didn't have to be this way. The Devs who love this game, who brought us some of the most incredible gameplay, must be hurting too. Feels real bad. -blam!- Bungie execs, and -blam!- Marathon.

Especially given the actual fact the game only got worse as it was expected. I'm glad I don't waste my money on this "developer". I will play once in a while but there isn't a damn thing in this game that creates any incentive or anything worth the amount of time it takes to obtain certain items especially knowing every -blam!- thing in this game is on a waiting list to be nerfed. This developer is all washed up that Sony Should have replaced them the day they bought them.

28 RepliesDude I was gonna post the same thing the other day. It feels really dead. Prior to TFS you could find multiple groups for pretty much every raid (regardless of the rotator) and now you’d be lucky to even get a group for Salvations Edge most of the time. No one is playing. Wait times for activities seem longer, putting together a decent team for GMs is a gruelling task. I checked a few websites including the one above and it looks like around June the player base just tanked. A really shame, I’m probably gonna hang it up in the next few weeks as well and move on to other games.

6 RepliesThe game has lost its identity. TFS expansion was the final straw for many players. Only the diehards and addicted continue to support the franchise nowadays. Everybody else has seen what a failure this franchise has become and has moved on.

There is a time limit that involves either oxygen or some hazard level. * 3 factions * Has a premium blueprints vendor * Has Guardian rank style system, a BIOS level, weapon modding, and a perk system

Playing since D1 Alpha have cleared every content since. Playing other games waiting for something to do. If you have things left to grind post up on LFG and become a leader and guide through it like I have. It's very easy to get stuff done when you find like minded players.

5 RepliesLet me put it this way. It's a hundred degrees outside and I have a nice cool room I could play Destiny in. Yet I'm laying in bed staring at my phone, and I deleted D2 over a month ago. That's how boring this DLC is. Before the DLC I was still playing almost daily. The Final Shape was so bad that I just got bored and quit after finishing the campaign on one character. I didn't even bother reaching max light. Actually, it was a combination of boring, insulting to the playerbase, buggy, and false advertising. Plus the dishonesty of paying streamers and E-mags for good reviews.

I felt that way until I got into a big clan. Now there are always messages on discord running trials, raids, etc. clan I’m in runs PvP, raid nights. Always a sheep’s on each team for newbies. Game has got fun again for me.

Yeah I'm having a hard time finding players to help me finish TFS campaign 😂 but yeah I bought all maps and haven't achieved -blam!- all but it's alright I like strikes a lot anyway. -
