Dude I was gonna post the same thing the other day. It feels really dead. Prior to TFS you could find multiple groups for pretty much every raid (regardless of the rotator) and now you’d be lucky to even get a group for Salvations Edge most of the time. No one is playing. Wait times for activities seem longer, putting together a decent team for GMs is a gruelling task. I checked a few websites including the one above and it looks like around June the player base just tanked. A really shame, I’m probably gonna hang it up in the next few weeks as well and move on to other games.

Ain't no way 666k+ people playing! Man at least make it believable! I woulda said 120k or something not 666k, no one believes that. -
There's 40k on Steam, right now, simultaneously. There's probably another 40k on Xbox and PS each. That's 120k. People usually only play a couple of hours, so cycle that for 24 hours and you could reach 666k in one day, world wide.

There's 50k playing right now on steam, so that's roughly 160k total people playing right now, total, this minute. Like I said, games not in a good place but it's doing fine

We did see a little bump for solstice from 500k to 700k, now 666k. These numbers aren't good btw, warnind had higher numbers & when you work out how many modes that's divided by & it's over 24 hours, yeah it's functioning but not great. Lfg is still busy too, but the quality of player has dropped, it's either brand new players or the top of the top elites. PvP seems the same, a mix of morons & MLG pro's. Bungies issue is these people aren't spending, vets have everything & no longer support them, new players don't even buy docs & just hang around in PvP. The future is quite bleak given projections & lack of a concrete future.

Thank you there's too many scrubs just echoing each other that it's all bad you know what it's easy to look up how many employees other games makers have bungee has half as much as Sega half as much as Nintendo you guys it's not a free fall this isn't a food handout, Bethesda runs their ship on 450 employees and in the peak of halos Hay Day say around 2009 bungee had $165 employees you guys the fat must be trimmed. 1,600 employees is only going to dilute the focus of destiny's game further. I am simply rejoicing right now, they eliminated so many management and redundant positions. Hire anymore and they'll have to start putting out their own game system

This is the silver lining I'm hoping for now too. They just fired a bunch of people, granted I do not agree with that in the slightest, just look at Nintendo and the WiiU situation. Staying positive, however, I hope this means that management can get their heads outta their asses and let the devs do what devs do best. Make and fix things that have been needing fixing or some form of QoL improvements to the game. Weapon crafting needs a way to knockout perks instead of consuming more mats for another perk combo that you had to craft, or worse spending mats changing said perks on a gun, a way to attune gear and weapon drops, making casual activities more rewarding by giving out mats needed to masterwork gear, or at best mats that can be exchanged for higher tiered mats. The list can go on, but I digress. If they can be given the time to actually work on the issues this game has faced year over year while being ignored for the sake of the [i]content train station[/i]. Then this is the best time for them to actually work towards QoL and a systems rework on the whole.

Good sir I have over 100 clears on the raids and game I beat it before their seals are badges have the badge that says I got them all, and before there are badges there was just warmind and Osiris I was there were you. Better yet let's throw on that prestige raid armor do you have any because I do I have full sets for all the characters

I normally wouldn’t, but when he’s calling everyone who has a different opinion a “scrub,” which generally means someone who isn’t good at the game, then they should at least be able to back it up. This fellow, unfortunately can not lol not even a little bit.

I understand and I don't. Just because someone is lashing out in a certain way by using certain words doesn't always mean the words they are using. Nuance is hard to understand sometimes when one comes from a different standing point. And this is coming from a guardian who gets moved, charged up, fired up when someone is being certain ways as well.

Well I appreciate your stance, although I disagree that just being super passionate is an excuse to say whatever you want all the time. I’m glad he likes the game (or gambit anyway lol) and largely I do too. Mostly this topic was mainly about how people are noticing the game feels less active than it has in a long time, which I think is valid.

The game feeling less active I totally agree on and while we may have differences on how people react, that too is also fine. I really hope the devs can find a way to bring back the trust they lost but hell, I ain't holdin my breath rn.
