Because we all know what he did... and what his true inner being will always be, right?

Editado por KannibalKlown: 1/29/2023 12:29:15 AMTell me you didn’t pay attention to “Season of the Haunted” without telling me you didn’t pay attention to “Season of the Haunted” He acknowledges that Uldren is a part of him and that he shares some similar traits. But he chooses to be better, and wants to try to atone to the evil that he did. He no longer feels obsessive over Mara. And he seems to be cleansed of the Garden’s insanity. The whole point of his story was to make peace with what he was and to decide to be better. But my god do people still hate the fact that Uldren killed Cayde

Uldren is back Check the helm
-
For all we know your guardian could have touch kids before e was resurrected, maybe your inner self will come out too
-
I hope to god there will be sometime where he reveals his true self again and we have to kill him for real
-
Crow already proved his better nature when he went to see Spider intending to hurt him but walked away. Glint on the other hand decided to fly into his face repeatedly ...
-
Crow is already back. He was corrupted and has been freed from that corruption. He remembers a lot with what was revealed to him when he used deepsight to see his past. He vowed never to go back to his old self.
-
His inner self has already come back, but he's accepted it. He'll have Uldren's memories and experiences to draw from, but he no longer has Mara's abusive manipulation and the Black Garden's corruption poisoning his character.

Editado por BOSSNONO254: 1/28/2023 12:27:32 PMIf they make crow evil again, then they’d of wasted time and resources on trying to make him be good. It’s too late for that “evil nature” to come back. Especially now with lightfall. The odds of Anna being evil are greater than crows. And he was only ever “evil” because he was corrupted by the darkness. He didn’t actually willingly choose to be that way. Even though he was still a-blam!- to begin with. He was not inherently evil at all.
-
Did you play season of the Haunted's story line?
-
Do you know what your true inner being is? Prior to our ghosts reviving us we may have done some bad stuff too.
-
Ah yes, I love redemption arcs where the character ends up in the exact same place they started in. Crow is still Uldren in the most important ways: his devotion and his wit. Uldren did what he did because he would do anything to please Mara, but that loyalty is gone now, and he has friends to tell him when he’s being fooled.
-
There’s no “true inner being” or some “dark self”. He came to terms with the past he learned about in Haunted and he hasn’t lived the life Uldren did so he doesn’t have the same constant damages and manipulation to tangle with.
-
I don’t think it’s over but my what a journey. I didn’t think it was possible after forsaken to like him. After reading the lore about how other guardians treated him. Basically being beaten to death on multiple occasions and so on yet he always looked after the Eliksni started changing my mind. After SOT Haunted he is now one of my favorite characters. I am curious to see if he ever reconnects with his sister who I think really misses him.
-
While people like to excuse Uldrens behavior with corruption or Maras influence, they forget he uses to deliberately send Guardians to their deaths. Cold blooded immoral murder.

You mean what Riven did in service to Savathun Uldren was has helpless has Osiris, that's why he closed his eyes before he pulled the trigger , he never was a bad person, just too loyal to his sister, and didn't trust Guardians, thought they were selfish egotistical morons(and we are) , but never did anything bad But Under Rivens influence, a wish dragon, one of the most powerful beings in Destiny lore, oh guardian mine , he was merely a gun, that the Witch Queen wielded to sew the seeds of her plans Crow isn't going to change, he will always be our freind, and people still holding a grudge for what happened 5 years ago need to build a bridge and get over it -
His true inner self has been on full display for years already. You just haven't been paying attention.

Editado por Lightbringer: 1/28/2023 10:09:03 AMUldred can't escape who he is. None of us can.

A scorpion wants to cross a river but cannot swim, so it asks a frog to carry it across. The frog hesitates, afraid that the scorpion might sting it, but the scorpion promises not to, pointing out that it would drown if it killed the frog in the middle of the river. The frog considers this argument sensible and agrees to transport the scorpion. Midway across the river, the scorpion stings the frog anyway, dooming them both. The dying frog asks the scorpion why it stung despite knowing the consequence, to which the scorpion replies: "I am sorry, but I couldn't resist the urge. It's in my nature."
