Why wasn't Oxygen SR3 added to Onslaught rewards instead of Hung Jury?
Hung Jury is great and all but Oxygen SR3 should have been the best option since should have benefited from the Solar Subclass updates/changes and the current artifact mods.
Its main perk Meganeura: which is Dragonfly deals more damage based on the number of precision hits dealt beforehand. Would have been great if other perks would complement it.
Not bringing back Oxygen SR3 has been a terrible mistake.

8 RespuestasWeapons types we are missing - no autos - no shotguns - no fusion rifles - no sidearms - no rocket launchers Instead we have 2x handcannons 2x breach loaded grenade launchers one being craftable 1x machine gun 1x submachine gun 2x a pulse rifle 1x grenade launcher 1x sword that basically made slammer a waste of time in the span of 1 week While yes the traits are enhancable. Its very perk dependant due to the fact that you may have a desired roll already crafted 🤷♂️

Would have taken some work but they could have changed oxygens unique perk to enhance all explosions while giving a minor stat bump and then put only explosion related perks in the opposite column (incandescent, timed payload etc)

If memory serves, in D1, Hung Jury or Mida were my usual scouts; and VoC, too. Now, we have HJ-4 in game… Black Hammer / Black Spindle / Whisper-1 / Whisper-2 now in game, again! Rinse. Recycle. Repeat. FWIW: Zhalo Supercell / Bygones ✅✅ Ease springs! 🫡 Club 49er

I'm gutted there's no auto in there.. 2 pulses, 2 hand cannons. I used to love hung jury in D1 but meh nowadays. Should have brought back extremophile from D1. Dead orbit auto yum

The gun has not had a chance to collect dust yet but they "brought it back" again. This and the raid weapons should have been removed and replaced with actually sunset weapons.

2 RespuestasWhy this why that, alot of cool weapons could’ve returned. Don’t question it, they clearly don’t question themselves. When it’s solar season they’ll add a bunch of arc weapons. They bring back guns we still have full access to. But hey at least 3-4 of the 12 are decent. Recluse was amazing back in the day. What we have now is not the Recluse. Its a 13 zoom piece of crap with piece of crap perks. Its no longer a pinnacle weapon. Neither is mountaintop.

I think Oxygen would have been a better choice, but any other gun besides Hung Jury. Or Fallen Guillotine for that matter. Could have left the former in Nightfall rotation, and put the latter in the world drop pool.

This was supposed to be the 10th anniversary bundle releasing in September featuring iconic destiny weapons is why. Just like prismatic was brought forward from whatever D3 they've been building, this was supposed to release in September & pulled forward to fill the delay

Their only other alternative would be to replace Meganeura and Dragonfly with something else. Doom of Chelchis can get Firefly and Dragonfly Hung Jury and other weapons can get Firefly and Kinetic Tremors Why would anyone use Oxygen when weapons like these exist with better or and/ or more frequent AOE damage?

2 RespuestasBecause as much as we didn't need another Hung Jury, we definitely didn't need that back either. It wasn't good then. It wouldn't be now. Patron of Lost Causes or SentencerIV/Song of Justice IV should've been the move.
