Destiny is being subject to DDoS attacks lately. Not Bungie’s fault. All online services can be victims of a DDOS attack. Bungie is working hard to mitigate these attacks. Bungie is trying their absolute best to mitigate these issues, but there isn't much they can do. You will have to be patient. If you have a complaint regarding this, take it up with whoever is doing these illegal attacks.

  • Ok. So. I pay money to play a stellar game. Outside forces are attacking your server. Yet again, how is this my fault. I understand it's out of your control. But I am still unable to play a game that I have paid for. If this was a three-way automobile accident,I still wouldn't be at fault and would be compensated for what has happened.   • I understand your frustration, many of us here do because we're sitting on the sidelines too. No one is blaming you here, not me, not the individual that responded to your post, or anyone else. But what you're asking for, using a car analogy myself, is like someone putting sugar in the gas tank of your car and you returning to the dealership to demand a refund. Bungie didn't do this; it was done TO them, just like it was done to the rest of us. It's total crap, and we all agree with you on that. But right now, the best we can do is be patient, spend time with your family, and hope that Bungie gets the problem resolved as fast as they can so we all get to enjoy the game we've paid for.

  • The problem with your response is that I didn't do anything wrong. I sure as heck didn't put "sugar in the tank and send it back". That would imply I HAD SOMETHING TO DO WITH IT. I didn't.   • I'm starting to think you don't read an entire comment before you respond. I said, as did others, no one is placing blame on you. I also said "someone" put sugar in your gas tank, not that "you" did. I feel as though you're intentionally ignoring what's been said to you or only seeing what you want. But that's for you to deal with, and I'm not going to defend myself against a false accusation from you which is 'libel,' not liable.

  • No one here works for Bungie bud. It's an open forum anyone can respond. Only the people with a blue tag next to their name are actual devs. Even then they don't have to compensate you for anything. Least of all for something out of their control. They're only incentive right now is to stop these attacks so that people can go back to playing their game and earning money.
