There is a cheese. Search for a video from Esotterick called Calus Cheese or something similar and choose the under the stairs method.
It's the only way that won't drive you crazy. They expect you to grapple around the arena constantly getting a peck at Calus in here and there for an hour to whittle him down.
Bungie sucks. Destiny has from inception always been a medium difficulty campaign followed by endgame that has increased difficulty.
The new "leadership" is a gatekeeping tool.

I tried the cheese but I didn’t get out from out of the stairs when you get to the second phase of the fight where he runs around and the arena gets shrunk down. I couldn’t get into the middle..such a piss off

Editado por markcusd: 3/21/2023 10:19:57 PMYou can stay under the stairs. Just move forward. There is a small part of the arena that you can shoot and he will conveniently go there for you. Esoterrick did an updated video that shows this and I did this on my Titan.

Editado por HumungousFungus: 3/21/2023 6:07:05 PMI had also been stuck trying to solo this for a few days. Had a good strat to get me to Calus final fight but had always been stomped from there. Just used the Eso ceiling cheese and it took me two minutes to kill him with a LMG and Osteo once I’d found a spot I could get my rounds through. Cannot recommend this strat enough, and thanks Velociwelder for the tip. Also means I can now do weekly Vanguard strikes using Strand for Pinnacle. Which is nice.
