5 RepliesI honestly don't even care about Whisper. It's all the armor nerfs that are devastating. But the Whisper nerf itself just continues to reinforce how stupid Bungie is. They NEVER learn from their own mistakes and changes.

This needs to be reposted everywhere! Bungie, you’re exposed! Actually, Bungie exposed themselves with these shit nerfs to create, as said in the video, Artificial Difficulty. Bungie looks quite ridiculous right now... they have no f’n clue how to respond... kind of like when your parent catches you burping the worm, just at a loss for words.

I saw Slayerage's after, but even then I feel like he's giving Bungie the safety slip Expecting Bungie to do better at design is apparently too much and them having the only threats be player cheesing is the only possible thing because of these exotics or something? Sounds cheap. The way he put it basically made it seem like Reckoning was deliberately made to show that we are too powerful, and used as evidence for nerfs. That is kinda insulting now that the activity is only gonna suck more than it already does and Prime armor is gonna be even more of a drag to get.

5 RepliesIGN's Fireteam Chat had a very good stance on the nerf. They said one of the problems was how 90% of the bosses in this game were designed. They all have a stomp mechanic, which teaches us to use long range weapons to avoid massive damage and possibly death. Then you have them all just being giant versions of normal enemies with an easy to hit crit spot. So everyone's like "OK, I need a long range weapon that specializes in hitting crits." What's the first weapon that comes to mind? Whisper.
