The nerfs have to happen. I understand why. I’m confused as to why more people don’t understand. Is it just cool to be upset at bungie? Mob mentality?

Most of them I can understand. But, whisper? No this is ridiculous. Why do we have the exact same thing happen as we had in D1? Exactly the same gun before the nerf and they will change it the exact same way. Why did we even get whisper in the first place then? And as stated in the video, because of this it will be useless, not worthy of being a exotic.

Totally agree. The link I posted somewhere in this thread is very good. The guy actually has some good ideas on how to add an exotic type perk without giving it ammo gen i.e. if you land 3 crits it’s buffs damage from all weapons by a certain %. Maybe stacking for each successive 3 crits. Otherwise like you said. The gun just isn’t an exotic.

Do I need to bring up kepri's sting or lucky raspberry? There are very few exotics that don't suck or are basically irrelevant/underused. If you take away the decent exotics what do we have? Having challenging content is great but the "tissue paper guardian" bit is annoying. We are far weaker than d1 by far. As for whisper, if they wanted spindle they should have given us spindle. The heavy ammo economy sucks. Rendering a gun that took so long to acquire and turning it into a neutered form of itself is a slap in the face for those of us who worked for the gun, the catalyst and the ship. This is my opinion. It is not in any way based on fact but rather what I've experienced.

Yeah I feel ya there. They need to buff other exotics if they want to see diverse loadouts. Remember although you won’t be able to use a super and get it immediately back, you are still getting some super energy back. Right now nothing else really trumps getting super energy back so if everything else remains unchanged then these exotics will ALL remain the go to top tier choices, we will simply need to coordinate orb generation and timing of supers better.

Ive watched dozens of videos on the matter and don’t agree with the nerfs how many exotics do are even useful , because sure as hell the aeon cult armor is not used! Theres maybe 4 decent exotics for each class and they’re nerfing the best ones makes no sense so every exotic armor will be equally garbage now.

Any armor that gives back any super energy is def not garbage. The same exotics will be used unless others receive buffs. You are just not gonna get it immediately back. Gonna need to coordinate more for orbs.

Its not garbage but their making it closer to garbage it was the best pve armor in game and now its gonna be horrible compared to what is was the game is being ruined look at how many people agree with me in this post alone let alone the rest of the community

You missed the point, as a 43 year old I refuse to Work towards a Goal that I know is gonna change it's mind when it feels like it. Bungie has zero clear direction and makes it up as they go . Has zero to do with shit being taken away. It's the lack of respect for our time invested to be shit on. If it was that unbalanced why did it even make it in the game ?

So let me ask you this: for d3 do you want to have your loot brought forward? I mean it’s a loot pursuit game. We gather loot enjoy it for a time and then we need to say goodbye to it. The experience stays fresh that way. The reason they brought it back was because the horrible launch of d2 hurt the game and as they were trying to win players back they started giving us more and more power. Now that cycle has reached its peak. We are simply entering a new cycle. Eventually all the loot will become obsolete. It has to or the game dies. We always need new loot to go after and we can’t keep carrying all the old stuff.

I believe D3 has no chance of being finished . If it does it's gonna be a studio killer. D2 got the nostalgia and sold millions because we all expected to the complete opposite of what was delivered. Now take D2, it's left a even worse impression on millions that arnt nostalgic anymore. I don't believe D3 would sell very well if at all the way this is going

Challenging means different things to different people. If people feel like they are not getting a challenge by using certain weapons then THEY have the choice to pick different weapons to make it more challenging for them. That's the entire point. People should have choices. Let the player decide how they want to approach something. And, unfortunately, Bungie has never believed that. They think they should dictate what weapons we use, and how we should play the game. It really is that simple. If people say that they have to use pinnacle weapons, they are wrong. They can choose to use a white or a green weapon if they want a "challenge". I just firmly believe in letting people make their own decisions.

In a sense, you're correct. But it will hamper people who aren't as good as the game as other people. I don't think it's some HUGE massive gimping of people being able to complete stuff, but I also think it was just unnecessary. To be honest, I'm in the camp that this was only done so the Raid wouldn't be blown through and that bugs me. I don't feel like they should change things for everyone just because of a Raid. But, I have to be honest... at the end of the day, it's probably NOT as huge a deal as everyone (including me) is making it out to be. I just think don't think it should happen.

Some of the most fun content in D1 was Datto doing Crota challenges! I laughed so hard about the "No LAND Beyond only" Crota raid. And they did it!

I can see that. It's definitely a balancing act. And yeah, during the Revelry, I certainly used my Super as many times as it was available, which was a lot.
