I honestly don't even care about Whisper. It's all the armor nerfs that are devastating.
But the Whisper nerf itself just continues to reinforce how stupid Bungie is. They NEVER learn from their own mistakes and changes.

They could have just made the damn enemies in the Raid more difficult to kill. People that Raid Raid Raid are better at the game than the majority, so then make that area of the game more challenging for them! Not all of us can breeze through everything, so making these nerfs now just fks over the average players still trying to get shit done and these so called over powered supers still don’t get the job done. Now the job definitely won’t get done at all.

The whole reason they nerfed them is so they didn’t have to make the raids more difficult because of those exotics. Look at reckoning, unless you have a coordinated team it’s very hard to do it without super regenerating exotics. That’s because they do balance them around these exotics. They do make the raids harder to balance out these exotics, but do you notice that the actual fighting in the raids isn’t too difficult, that’s largely because these exotics are just so powerful. It is nearly impossible to balance infinite supers. Nothing will ever be as strong as them so buffing won’t work. That leaves bungie with 2 choices, nerf the supers or nerf the exotics. I’d rather the exotics be nerfed. And before you mention how they do nerf supers, all supers that have been nerfed are because of pvp, not pve.

Raid boss with no crit spots... problem solved. And it would be an interesting change of pace.
