#Remove Eververse: Activision Blizzard has $17.452 billion in total assets.
Many of you have your heart in the right place and believe these multi million dollar companies need to add new revenue streams to survive modern game development, but the numbers just don't fit that narrative.
Let's look at some numbers shall we?
Destiny 2's publisher's (Activision) total assets are worth $17.452 billion.

It’s cool though, I’m wearing the whole set as the armour is pretty sweet, so can’t entirely blame you for being a complete hypocrite. Side note: yes I bought engrams, as I have money and I’ll spend it on w/e I want as I spend more on a Friday night buying drinks and a meal... you’re all cheap asf and need to stop complaining.

4 RespostasIm going to post this to as many first page Remove Eververse posts as possible. Let me explain something to you, and maybe you will see why spamming the forums won't work. The only way Eververse will ever be removed, is if it no longer is profitable. Its that simple. You could spam 100 forum pages with "Remove Eververse", and it will do NOTHING, as long as people spend money in game. What you really need to do, is find a way to get people to stop spending money in game. That won't be easy, and is likely why everybody tried spamming the forums, because its easy. Convincing everybody to stop spending will take time, effort, and rational well presented facts to support your stand. After that, it will take finding, and using, every available method of getting it out to people. Simply sending messages saying "you dumb ass quit buying from Tess", (I have gotten those just cashing in an earned bright engram), will not help either, nor will spamming the forums with "Don't buy from Eververse". You need to use tact and facts to change things, and you need to put some effort and work into as well. You also need to respect the fact that some people do not mind spending money for things, and need to find a way to explain to them, respectfully, why it hurts the game community. Find the way to convince people to quit spending, you will see Eververse no longer a part of Destiny. If you, and everybody else that spammed the forums can not see that, nothing will change.

Just out of curiosity, should we use the player base's average gross income and total assets to decide what people should pay for the game? Because I'm pretty sure most people could spend WAY more than $60 and not starve. I mean, sure... thats a stupid way to decide what someone should pay, but it's an equally stupid way to decide how much a business should be able to make on a single product without context.

Franchise will burn and vanish before that happens. Just let go, corporate greed is like a virus across multiple industries at this point. They never respected your time/money, never knew what it means to build a healthy loyal GAMING franchise/following and are consistent with their greedy/scummy/incompetent decisions. 3 RespostasI agree with you, however I still feel the need to bring up the fact that assets are not the same as money. You can go out with nothing but the clothes you're wearing and you'll have a positive value in "total assets" but good luck doing anything with it. The number you're supposed to be looking for is net value or net income. Same for bungie, estimated website value is a hypothetical money you could be making if you flooded your site with adds based on how many unique clicks per minute you have going through your site. Its not actual worth.

2 RespostasTake a step back and think about this for a moment. Guardian Con was formed by the Destiny hardcore player community to raise money for children’s hospitals. The players in the community of Destiny created this. It’s amazing and it shows the dedication of guardians all over the world. It really comes down to what a guardian was really meant to be. I’ve seen youtubers donate thousands of dollars sacrificing their trip to go for this cause. Now take Bungie a Great company turned greedy. The game lay in ruins with all roads leading to Eververse. A company that created a game that ditched it’s hardcore player community for the sake of greed. The same hardcore community that created guardian con. Quite frankly bungie you disgust me. Does not matter what’s in a contract, no matter what’s best for business, you need to take a step back and think of right from wrong. because presently bungie, wrong is the only thing I think you know how to do. The people who created this game are not good people. The people who support this are not good people. Period!!!! Take a step back from how you feel about the game or if you enjoy it or not and think about this simple equation.
