Nothing is handed to you, you gathered the mats. An alternate route to marks has been in the game from day one, and now it's gone with no warning or replacement. Bad move on bungies part.

The problem is that the faction armor is the only good purchaseable armor. Literally all of the vanguard armor either has useless perks or is ugly. The only hope you have of getting halfway decent vanguard armor is RNG. I'm really bad at crucible. Back when my hunter was my main, i farmed mats for crucible marks so I could have dead orbit armor without having to play this games busted pvp. Plus it's way faster. I could gather 100+mats in an hour or so. That's 10 crucible marks. Which is roughly faster or about the same amount of time it would take to play enough crucible for that and imo crucible is so broken and not fun that Id much RATHER run around for an hour farming; it's more fun

I have a bunch of exotics maxed as well as maxed legendaries. This is more about being bored after playing the same content for two straight months and dumping hundreds of hours into it. I simply had more fun patrolling at this point but I guess that wasn't how I was supposed to be playing the game.

I have played both the Crucible and I have played a crazy amount of Tigers. Neither have given me anything but garbage blues. I'm done wasting my time, that's all. I had far more fun patrolling and "earning" my marks in a different way. That's gone now so you're right, the game is no longer entertaining.
