Yeah its literally gobsmacking how they can be this out of sync with the community.
It's exotics droprates for LLS.
It's nightfall weapon droprates for NFs.
For the latter, the maximum difficulty on offer with matchmaking hasn't been increased past Heroic. Heroic like LLS perhaps, offers barely 1 in 10 runs chance for one drop by my estimation. That increases exponentially if any said randoms skip any Champion, effectively reducing droprates further. It's very realistic to say you can spend hours each night, every night, for a whole week, and see no where NEAR your choice of Godroll...in an NON-ADEPT version.
It's now been made much harder. No declared increase in any droprates. Except enhancement cores - UPDATE!! Looking at my stacks of 999 cores, 10 Ascendant mats, etc... whoopdedoo Bungie you didn't get the community feedback at all.
(Nor is artificial difficulty what's needed but game content and strategic innovation challenges - but that's another topic.)

Players are happy for the game to stagnate because they fail to vote with their wallets to kickstart any major and necessary change for a game that remains unchallenged in the looter shooter space. It’s a deadly mix. Bungie don’t need to put in any work to earn their money. Bungie don’t need to “market” Season of the Haunted because people bought the season in August 2021, when Witch Queen became available to preorder.

This time last pre-expansion dateI had pre-ordered the Collector's Deluxe edition. This year I've preordered nothing and I'm going free to play. The content is not remotely worth the money - OP Seraph Shield was about the only thing I enjoyed and that wasn't worth $100. This time it's paying the same amount to be Spiderman without addressing most of major concerns about WQ and beyond.
