Best 6-man activity?
Raids would be my number 1 answer. If you were talking outside of raids, then maybe I'll agree with you just because it has a matchmaking feature.
Overall though, raids would be my favorite 6-man activity in the game.

Now if only they could get raids, or something similar to how this game defines them, correctly.
Now if only they could get raids, or something similar to how this game defines them, correctly.
Raids are fun activities that have been ruined by the infamous hamster wheel grind. They don't feel special at all because even the rewards are so controlled they've become stingy and unrewarding.

Nah, I’m using the angle that this game has no proper difficulty curve along with the fact that raids are just massive inconsistencies due to the game calling itself part action game, even though raids rely on the repetition of the same sequences of triggers on any encounter instead of combat.

It's so vague that Rockstar Games studios could call any of their games an "Action" game at the same time, Square Enix could also call any of their Final Fantasy games an "Action" RPG game while these companies produce completely different looking games with completely different gameplay mechanics. The term "Action" games is a vague genre that means they can justify whatever they want to do in any given time in this vague spectrum of limitless possibilities, and still get away with it even if they screw it up. Action games doesn't mean squat!

Guess I oughta had to be more specific. Action shooter. Destiny is not a good one, and raids contribute to that just as all of Bungo’s mishaps do. There ya go.

The term action game is also vague they are using it to hide whatever mishaps they create on the way. It's humorous at best.

Indeed.

I call them A.I. induced inefficiencies. These are the limitations of pixel A.I. binary algorithms. And as such, they will never be as unpredictable as human opponents would behave in a given situation. These are videogame limitations that no developer can go around with. It's always gonna be like this for some time until A.I. technology improves and becomes slowly autonomous and could think, react, and behave much closer like humans do.

Nah, that’s not even what I’m saying. Well-designed combat doesn’t need complex AI to be good and many action games have already proven that. I’m merely stating that this game is inconsistent. One of the “hardest” activities is only “hard” because it involves anything except for combat, because Destiny doesn’t have combat, it just has mindless shooting. This makes it a sorry excuse of an action game.

As if I'm still standing in the same spot since I started it 7 years ago. Mindless!

It’s always gonna be that way. It won’t ever reach the heights of other good shooters. It’s hilarious. There is no middle ground with Destiny’s “combat”. Either the enemies are so intelligence-insultingly easy that you can kill them by slamming your -blam!- on a keyboard, or they’re so bullshittingly unbalanced because of inflated numbers that it slows everything down to a crawl. It’s not a difficulty curve, it’s a difficulty right angle! Not to mention that the easy part of it doesn’t prepare any player for the “hard” part. It’s just THAT bad.

They are just capitalizing it as a "friend" game, milking it all the way. No way it will even be at par with other great shooters. Gunplay is there, but what are you gonna do with it if it's an empty game.
