You know what? I don't recall one multi up-voted post complaining about this prior to Foreskin launching.
I think @Nectum hit the nail on the head with how it kills the mid-game. My bro has a TON more time in D1 than me, massive fan, D2 day 1 player. He hasn't played in weeks because he is bored. My time with the game has dropped too from daily to maybe weekly if that.
I do hope those hardcore folk who shit on us who want it gone can all save up enough to keep the servers running cause we all know how tight Bungle is.
You know what? I don't recall one multi up-voted post complaining about this prior to Foreskin launching.
Because this system didn't exist prior to Forsaken. ...and people didn't complain because the costs of Infusion were responsive to player time investment. If you wanted to infuse more....you simply played more to earn the necessary currencies. THAT'S HOW WELL-DESIGNED ECONOMIES WORK. But Cores were specifically designed to NOT work that way. To act like a restrictor plate on a race car engine. To limit how muich power (or progression in this case) the engine puts out, regardless of how much you step on the accelerator. The only thing this system does is allow Bungie to MICRO-MANAGE and limit progression to cover up their difficulty in creating sufficient content. We are being used....and people are dumb enough to defend the manner in which they are being exploited.
