If they all weren't acting like such entitled brats then yea we could probably let it slide. Sure I get that it was kinda strange for Bungie to drop Legacy Consoles before D2 but, they stated that they would have to rework parts of the game or something along those lines in order to make it work.
As far as I'm concerned, if dropping last gen means getting Destiny up to 60fps and unleashing what Bungie has wanted this game to be then in the words of a wonderful cinematic piece
GET ON WITH IT!

YEAH! GET ON WITH IT!
Nice assumption. That every single one of us to play on last gen are entitled brats... I have a job, live on my own, etc etc. For me personally why the hell should I give up my PS3 that can play both ps2 and PS3 games just to upgrade on one game who's new dlc may end up being Crap. On top of that, Playstation and Xbox will be coming out with new consoles soon. So tell me. Why should I upgrade? Just because one company "promises" better content?

Dude by saying all of that you literally just gave an example of what he is talking about....
-
About what exactly?

Edytowany przez użytkownika skydog112: 6/13/2016 1:52:53 AMActing entitled. Let me elaborate; You stated that you have a job and a life, hats off to you, then you went on to say, "why should I upgrade," (Like most ps3 players that are complaining do). I mean if you don't want the content that bungie is going to release then you don't have to purchase it, but by saying what you said you kind of proved his "false assumptions" to be true. I think the real question is why shouldn't you upgrade; The ps3 is an 11 year old console and yours will probably die soon so idk why you are still holding on to it. You also have a job so it's not like it's that big of an expense. There's next to nothing that you can do about rise of iron not releasing on ps3 so there's no point in asking a rhetorical question like what you did.

For my refusal to upgrade it's because a family member bought for me. So personally I don't see a reason why I should throw away a gift just because that console is no longer useful in advancement for one game. Once it dies yes, I will buy a ps4 but until then I intend to fully enjoy that gift. Secondly me kinda proving that I am self entitled. How does what I say imply in any way that I am? It's logic. PS4 is limited to people only playing ps4 games and the PS3 can play both ps2 and PS3 games. Which means I can play games for two consoles. And how do any of us know that the rise of iron will even be worth the $400 upgrade plus all the previous dlc's? I can neither afford to spend that much on one game and even if I could i wouldn't and neither do I wish to. What, I'm considered entitled just because I question that all this hassle will be worth it?

Edytowany przez użytkownika skydog112: 6/13/2016 7:28:52 PMOk, just letting you know, Sony recently announced that they were shutting down playstation 3 servers most likely this year so that's a pretty good reason to upgrade. Addressing what you said about how you came off (you sounding entitled), the persona of your first comment was actually very "brat"-ish despite what you said at the beginning. You started asking tons of rhetorical questions about the content quality and why should you upgrade etc. I mean no harm in saying this, but it really did come off as ignorant. Not only has the content that destiny has released been getting increasingly better, but there are tons of reasons to upgrade. If I need to lay them all out plainly in front of you I can, but there's not much of a point judging from your stance. One last thing: I know it was a gift, but it's an 11 year old console, if you got it while it was new then there is really no point to hold on to it.

That Monty Python reference though.

What's your take on those frustrated with not getting those "missing exotics" which were advertised with the Taken King (including WARLOCK BOOTS!). I understand that last-gen must go if Destiny is to truly advance, but surely you can sympathize with those who feel shorted. After all, this isn't even Destiny 2, but rather a DLC for the first game. Again, I understand that last gen must go, and I'll be saving for a next gen console. Oh, and I love the Monty Python reference!

Theyd have to rework the engine for 60fps

Pretty sure were not gonna see 60fps in destiny anytime soon definitely on destiny 2 i hope lol
