Fallen Mech
The attached image is from GDC, just follow with me here.
Yes, I know some concepts don't make into production.
Now if you look at this image, at the second row, the Fallen and Fallen Shank in Blue;

You seethe same mech.
So is this a boss?
Some Fallen Houses must not be in such disarray as the others.

10 RespuestasIf those are fallen mechs... And destiny allows u to interact with the environment... And u have the "ghost robot" I am wondering if u are able to get your ghost to fix the mech and be able to drive and control the mech... That would be awesome...

1 RespuestaIt almost looks like the mechs will double as spacecraft. Look at the rear of the mech on the right, those rings look suspiciously like jets.

3 RespuestasBungie doesn't seem to be opposed to creating fights against large vehicles and the like with Scarabs in Halo and the Spider Walker. I would love to fight a mech, personally, so perhaps Bungie will do it.

Where it was suppose to be a game like Skyrim with swords and goblins instead of guns and aliens? Yeah.. Although I would like to see these guys in the game. Also, these guys could be Vex???

Ever see that clip of TitanFall where the guy jumps on the mech and shoots it until it blows up? That's what's going to happen to this thing, no matter what Class it is.

1 RespuestaDespite this being a sort of mood board for antagonist species confirmed for Destiny, I can't help but feel this concept ended up as the spider tanks/walkers instead. And as you said, some concepts don't make it into production. Though biped tanks along with multipeds might offer a bit of variety in the vehicular arena. As an aside, I'm getting a very Hoth probe droid vibe from that glacial city concept art board. Anyway, it's a more upright mech, sure, but doesn't resemble the one from the mood board apart from the vague resemblance of that back shielding, not in the apparent number of legs or the torso. We'll see which, or if either model end up in the game in any capacity, but my gut tells me the standing mech got scrapped for a Fallen spider tank, anyway.
