Bungie, I think that limited time events like this should have their respective gear craftable. This whole time we should have been chasing red borders, along with random rolls we find, rather than ornaments. The ornaments should have been given out by completing challenging activities, and can be applied to any of their respective weapons.
I appreciate the little bit of content before TFS, but I think this was definitely an oversight that should have been avoided.

So many with a gambling addiction on one post, looks like a gamblers anonymous meeting 😆.

This is one of those damned if you do damned if you dont situations. Part of the community loves crafting the other part wants crafting gone. If all guns were craftable then you forsake the players who want to hunt for their God rolls. If they stop making some craftable at all then you forsake the players who want their time respected.
-
You’re scaring the tryhards with that talk.
-
I guarantee you two weeks after lightfall drops most of these weapons everybody is complaining about not getting shinies and all that .. are pretty much going to be obsolete because everybody's going to be chasing the new stuff
-
I love crafting but I think having to hunt some rolls in the game is important. They have to balance it so people play.
-
The point was to keep you on a hamster wheel. Crafting would've been counter productive to that.
-
Agreed that they need to be craftable. The shiny versions and Hall of Heroes are going away on June 4th, so just let me make shiny verions at that point. It feels like a waste like quite a few things Bungie has done over the years.
-
Upvoted this brave soul for spittin truth to the highly regarded on here
-
Agreed. Hoping for a random drop sucks. Allow red borders to drop so plays can work towards the roles they want.
-
I don’t care much for them being craftable or not, just let me get the -blam!- weapon I attuned for period
-
Being able to craft BRAVE weapons is the WORST idea people have come up with, and let me explain why. First, being able to craft the weapons would arguably destroy the need for a grind which this game sorely needs. Second, what fun would it be, if EVERYONE has... Say a crafted Hung Jury with Kinetic Tremors, Rapid Hit, Handling MW, and Corkscrew rifling? It would ruin the possible unique rolls that it can have and EVERYONE would just settle on a single set of perks instead of looking at other perk interactions. Third, these weapons weren't intended to be craftable to begin with, (minus Hammerhead because you could technically craft it back in BA, albeit you couldn't choose the perks you got) Recluse and Luna's were Crucible pinnacle weapons, Succession was a DSC raid weapon along with Forebearance, Falling Guillotine was a world drop, as well as Edge Transit, Elsie's Rifle is just a copy and paste of No Time To Explain, which the model has been in use since Destiny 1. All of these weapons (minus Hammerhead) were NEVER meant to be craftable.
-
Hard pass. Not everything needs to be craftable. Some straight up RNG is good for the game. It feels good to finally get the drop you are looking for. Games is good with some crafted and some RNG-only weapons.
-
Does no one here know that the perks on the brave weapons will be enhance-able in TFS
-
Agreed, all weapons should be craftable. The only barrier to weapons should be the difficulty of the content.
-
No thank you. I'm not in the "crafting ruined everything and I need dopamine" boat, but it's nice to be able to hunt for rolls on some things and not just ticking the box five times and dumpin shards in until I have perks I like. It's a good balance, and I'm getting enough loot (with the changes) that it feels like I'm not getting -blam!- on drops. I just don't want everything in the game to be craftable. I'm glad they're at least going for a decent balance.
-
no we got to fuel peoples gambling addictions
-
Shinies? No Regulars? 100% yes It’s just like having regular and adept loot. Rng is always going to be inferior to a set path for loot
-
100%. Craftable weapons respect the players time investment and the ability to swap perks for protection from Bungie’s effin weapons nerf team is much more important than some addict’s dopamine hit they are getting from RNG drops.
-
You can enhance the perks when final shape releases. No need to craft them
-
RNG is terrible especially when the weapon perks are subpar. There’s no reason to grind for anything that’s not worth the chase. Bungie made everything mid at best. It’s what they’ve been doing since the first game. Red borders made the grind for mid guns more tolerable. Introduce powerful loot again and the chase will be worth it again. It also cut down the grind for multiple copies of the same gun to help with vault space. But unfortunately even craftable weapons aren’t exciting either.
-
Then no one would play that and bungie cant have that
-
No. Lot players will use weapon more often. If polls shown weapons overuse. It will nerf harder. Just leave it way it is.
-
That would ruin there novelty, and value The whole point is for them to be rare and hard to get Anyway , I think by them saying new weapons are enhancable in FS, means they plan on completely phasing out crafting at some point
-
I really believe crafting has hurt this game more than it has helped it. It takes the excitement out of the game for me personally.
-
Just make every gun craftable is essentially what you're saying. And before you say no it's not, yes it is.
-
That would defeat the entire purpose of the Onslaught game mode
