Can class items be removed from engram decryption once max light is reached?
Once you get to max equipment light level, class items provide nothing worth keeping once you get them the first time. They have no random roll, and are effectively a non-reward for an engram that may have taken you a long time get, only to be rewarded with guarantee of nothing. Can class items be removed from the pool of random rolls, once max light level is gained?

I think that once you have obtained a class item at least once, then that is removed from the activity loot pool. In addition, class items should be able to be re-acquired from the collections considering that they no longer have any associated stats on them.
