What you completed is not a strike.
It was Psiop battleground.
You can complete it by doing a strike.

Vanguard ops is a playlist with a mixture of strikes and a few kinds of battlegrounds. Yeah the changes can get confusing for some unless they stay up to date with all the changes and how activities and playlists are labeled.
