Would love this to move up the team, or at least to know why there’s a restriction
Bungie updated this feature as a combative measure against bot accounts of recovery/paid carry services. More information here:

 • Thanks for the info, so having the restriction be based on either owning a recent expansion or owning a season would still combat the spam and open up creating fireteams for more of the community, testing this during a season to see if spam doesn't go up would see if it is beneficial or not.

I agree with Bungie on some terms of this new update to the fire team finder, like owning one of the three most recent major content drops but maybe they could implement a system for Pass holders and free to play users. I suggest: • X required hours played in all three core activities, any playlists. (I think three rank resets are fair, per account) • X required triumph score (Triumphs as available to new lights, their accounts with or without acceptance of seasonal ones) • required base game story completion (for each character class, one time only per account) Or something more defined to differentiate from an actual active player and a spam bot. The way I see it right now Bungie still gets paid from people buying expansions as business expenses to advertise whether those accounts get banned or not and lowering that cost Will inevitably invite more spam. I'm aware this is also a feedback post meant for Bungie, so you can ignore my opinion.
