I'm not sure if this suggestions would make any sense since I'm not too familiar with how balancing an exotic looks like, but I honestly feel like this exotic could achieve much greater potential if Bungie would make some small tweaks. They could make it so that the recharge of the Super doesn't require getting kills; instead they could tie the amount of Super regain to the damage dealt by the Nova, similarly to how Shards of Galanor recharge Blade Barrage by damaging and killing opponents. I believe that this quality of life change would allow for a much broader usage of this exotic. Skull's main purpose of clearing adds would still be readily available but it would also allow for using Nova against beefier targets without making you feel like you're completely losing value since you still get some Super Energy back.
