It feels like the past year the monetization has gotten a little out of hand. Eververse has got some crazy micro transactions, from a 7 dollar year old bad juju ornament to a 14 dollar 3 year old armor set. Dlc is becoming even more expensive charging 40 dollars for the next main expansion with a deluxe edition adding a 10 dollar fee to pre purchase the seasons. If you don’t buy the deluxe edition or you wait too long to pre order the deluxe edition you have to pay 40 dollars just for the seasons instead of the 10 you could’ve payed if you pre-ordered the deluxe edition. Also every event in destiny is centered aroud spending money at eververse: dawning, festival of the lost, and solstice of heros. Feels almost abusive. But whatever, I’ve been addicted to the game for 6 years... might as well feed it.
