There is evidence that flinching moves the reticle towards the head if not already on it. This entirely defeats the purpose of a 'flinch' mechanic and has a side effect of making already easy to use snipers almost impossible to counter in the hands of an okay player (not even good).
Snipers are long ranged weapons. Quickscoping and close range play should be something incredibly hard to pull off, and yet its equally as common to get killed by a sniper in shotgun range as it is from scout rifle range and beyond.
Snipers are just plain too easy to use, and this unbalanced flinch mechanic doesn't help. There are so many problems, even besides this, with destiny pvp that I don't think there's a chance it'll ever be good.

The fact that you can just rely on that to secure kills with a primary follow up if you do this deliberately, should mean the weapon as a whole cant be really considered skill base if you can cheat with it like that. [b]Headshots as a sniper in this game is optional at best. [/b] Look at slug shotguns for example, can't exactly cheat with those archtypes. You either headshot or get killed (unless the enemy is so slow to respond, then you can two tap them to the body, which isn't even cheating too).

They do take skill..... Are you gonna in the next sentence tell shotguns take skill? Slug shotties have ridiculous AA on them. Seriously what is with you people always whining about snipers? You're as bad as the cod community about this. You wanna complain about something how about destiny 2s stupid flinch mechanic
