Bungie, the community spent days working on this puzzle. It brought a lot of us together. Unique idea. There are thousands of people mentally exhausted. And THIS was the reward? An exotic we already knew about? You know why people rage and leave, and say you all can't put together quality content?
Because of this shit right here.
Seriously. Awesome idea, but the reward was just not worth the damn grind that thousands put into this.
This is how you lose the confidence and trust in the community.

I was hoping for the sword...
-
It sounds like the intention was for this ti be like unlocking the Dreaming City or Nobie Labs.. Also it was only a day ago ppp were praising the puzzle with how great it was. I thought that was the fun? Glad I never bothered till it was finished.
-
How many data spreadsheets did you contribute to the final solution?
-
It’s at the point people are complaining because they can, not because they should. This thread is silly.
-
I mean... we all knew this was possible. We all knew in the back of our minds what to expect, if the past year is any indication. Bungie no longer has a publisher. They're on a budget. The studio is building assets they can economically repurpose to create activities that lead to rewards they've already created and announced. It's fine to expect more from them, I'm always up for a pleasant surprise, but also be prepared for disappointment every time. I just want to know what happened to the team that created the Whisper and Outbreak quests. Where did they go and why are the designers just phoning it in lately? If Bungie has to work with the assets they have, they should double down on the creativity of the quests they make, not just use a "Mad-Libs" fill-in-the-blank form or have us run endlessly down hallways counting symbols.

Based on feedback collected during the "Corridors of Time" from this season, we’ll be adding quests through portions of the Corridors that require the exact code to venture into "The Vault..." as one of many locations in the Destiny Universe. We weren’t able to deploy this change instantly due to the community's tireless effort to sprint past the finish line with a recent puzzle, but we can promise this change as a first step to unlocking time on the next reset. This gives us time to thank the guardians that have stayed with us during the changes for the next Season. Enjoy past exotics that await you in time because you'll never know what can't be explained now will be explained in time...

I’m honestly just disappointed it’s not anti barrier
-
I think that's my biggest issue with it. Like, Bungie has to know that this reward would not be well received, right? Nobody in entire development house said, "hey, you think they'll be disappointed the reward is an exotic on the roadmap?" Reminds me of the meme with the meeting and they throw the guy out the window. I don't know which option is worse: if they're that out of touch, lazy, or just plain do not care. The worst being all three combined.
-
The puzzle was a great idea. Brought a whole lot of people together and we got it solved. The gun is super fun and probably the closest we’ll get to Pocket Infinity. That being said, I must admit I was a tad disappointed when I heard the reward was a gun we knew was coming. That’s mostly due to me getting hyped up hearing Mythoclast and Razelighter. I’ve come to terms that the whole ordeal, puzzle, lore, emblem, dialogue and gun were all well worth it in the end. Good job Bungie and hats off to the community.

I'm the farthest thing from a destiny defender which can be seen from past comments but I think there is some over reaction to this. I agree I was a little disappointed to see this was a roadmap weapon but people are acting straight victimized here. I won't pretend I contributed to the puzzle solving but let's be honest almost nobody outside of streamers did and they got what they really wanted. Views. Everyone else who didn't just got the gun that was advertised. Underwhelming yes, a travesty no. I think this is actually more people using this as a last straw to say to the other percieved slights of recent weeks. And let's be honest. Whether gjallarhorn, mythoclast, or other, it would have been a shell of its former glory.
-
I seriously don't get where people get that they thought this was some great or amazing quest. I mean I dont hate the gun or the quest. I had no idea what was happening at all and I still was unimpressed. The gun is meh definitely don't see it being my guardian's "favorite" weapon. The only interesting part of this thing was the Grave speech beyond that it was a meh at best quest.
-
I really do not understand what the rage is about? Dont we all know what we call a person who does the same thing over and over again, and expect a different result? :)
-
Should've given us back vex but have better stability
-
a long and complex puzzle in an FPS? i laughed and blew it off. now that the solution to the long and complex puzzle is out there... some 20 rooms you have to run through in the right sequence, avoiding bad guys... ... to get a lame gun that's outperformed by purples i have in my inventory i laughed and blew that off too !
-
I've been here since day one, hell I've been here since Halo and this... this just isn't right, this alone isn't going to make me stop playing all together but I got to say this was a major disappointment. Come on Bungie you're better than this!
-
If you still have enough heart in this game to be disappointed by Bungie, it's on you at this point.

Editado por SAHDverse: 1/21/2020 12:02:59 AM“It’s a marathon not a sprint” I believe that was said about this whole corridors of time quest. But still, damn near the whole community treats it like a sprint regardless. No one told all of you f**ktards to spend days trying to sprint through a quest and then get butt hurt because you got the reward you were expecting. Jacka**es...
-
What is their to be upset about we got a neat exotic. God damn cry babies
-
Honestly you didn’t actually do it for the gun The corridors were for an emblem and some dialogue Quest comes out tomorrow anyway so all those spreadsheets and giving streamers money for an emblem and dialogue
-
Has anyone else's quest bugged out when bringing it saint? Like get the thing from our grave, bring it to saint and then it just disappears after turning it in instead of becoming a new quest step?
-
Ya'll really surprised?
-
They shouldn’t give us such a hard quest and the reward is a weapon we are gonna get regardless next week
-
Well spank you very much for doing all the work! Now i’m going to easy do the quest and collect the new weapon.... couldn’t have done it without you! 💪🏻👌🏻
-
I know the weapon really hasn't seen any use and I don't have it or have used it personally but it really sucks and isn't worth the effort.... can't get over how you come out with quest for things I know I'll hate before I have it....
-
Bungie tweeted the completion of the community event has meant the release of an exotic quest on Tuesday reset, an exotic quest that was not going to get released if the mission wasn't completed. Bastion is not the only reward for this. This completely nullifies all the moaning in this thread and all others. /thread closed.

The funny thing is, I highly doubt bungle will even address this either. I bet they are just patting themselves on the back
