Regarding weapons choice/bringing old favorites forward - it's a moot point because balancing/nerfing has rendered all of them equal in class/archetype at best. Sometimes, they're inferior resurrections. Look no further than Two To The Morgue. There are plenty of other examples. "The game is dying." Cheese & Rice this sentiment is old. Tracker says there's ball park 1M - 1.5M players daily.........in a game that premiered about 2.5 yrs ago. Destiny has set many a record along the way, is still going strong, and my money says it will continue to get even better in the future. Most complaints here are blown way out of proportion and are trivial......and most of the players threatening to quit/leave return. Fact.

Destiny tracker hmm.. Lets see *goes to population site* Okay, so, they should have somewhere right on this front page a six month chart showing weekly figures of the average number of players who stay logged into the game world for atleast a 15 minute period each day to demonstrate upward or downward trends.... No?.. Hmm. Guess not... Or maybe an indicator of how many current players have been playing for more than two months vs players who have been playing for less than two months to establish if there has been a shift from "veteran" players to new players?... No.. No indicator at all to that effect to measure changes in player population... So... Basically all this will tell you is how many people have logged in in the last, what.. 24 hours or so?..... Do you have a site you can provide that reflects meaningful player statistics over a period of greater than one week? Because rather or not it's being reported, bungie is definitely tracking those figures. It would be pure incompetence not to. Otherwise it's relevant to remember that at current, we have three special events in effect. The Dawning, Sparrow Racing, and Trials. Absolute worst case scenario, current player figures should be at least 25% to 30% higher than normal. You need to look at the last four months to draw any meaningful conclusion. Otherwise, it's trying to discuss climatology, which involves the study of weather, tidal, and current changes over the course of decades, when all you have brought in the way of data is a 5 day forecast. It's like saying trying to defeat the idea that climates are behaving oddly by throwing a snowball. A couple nights ago someone made the same argument by stating destiny tracker showed that 700,000 players had been online in that 24 hour period. Clearly, daily figures vary wildly. So look. I'm not saying you're wrong. I'm just saying that my personal experience of seeing more and more people having their entire friends list abandon the game is going to require more than a 24 hour sampling taken during a time when by all rights server numbers actually should be relatively high, to establish the long term reality of your position. If you have those figures, I'll be happy to review them. If you don't care about reinforcing your position by more concrete evidence, that is also your right.
