Three Of Coins Nerfed Too Much
Bungie, please fix this asap. This is -blam!-ing ridiculous. I grinded hours upon hours of gameplay trying to fit this weeks schedule around my gameplay to be able to get exotics. I was able to get enough strange coins to purchase enough three of coins so I could try for exotics 30 times. Out of 30 tries, I only got 2 exotic engrams. THIS IS RIDICULOUS BUNGIE. It says that the Three Of Coins is a "Stackable" item, yet whether I try 1, 2, or 5 coins in a single try, it doesn't give me any better chances. It pissed me off enough that I almost threw my controller at my TV. There isn't even any proof that it is stacking for better odds. I just spend 30 tries in getting exotics, and only got 2 engrams. This really is -blam!-ing ridiculous. Please do something. What would be good is maybe you could have the coins set to a setting where it has the internal cooldown of 15 minutes, but still has the probability setting that it did during the week it first launched. Never before has Destiny severely pissed me off this much. This game is starting to be shown as a waste of my time, and money. Everyone doesn't even like to go the nightfall anymore because they can just do a strike, and get better rewards. What happened Bungie? This game used to be fun.

Editado por cmburch: 1/8/2016 10:26:34 AMThey screwed it up the last update. Used to be about 1 in 4 for me. Now for over 2 weeks it is 13-20 before I get a drop. Stacking does not work. Use only 1 3oC per boss. I tried the Ultra Knight and got 0 for over 20 3oC.

Dude three of coins were only nerfed in one way. As long as you're not doing the boss cheese the chance for drop stays the same as it's always been. Rng is what's letting you down. And let me let you in on a little secret, you're not alone

Likewise, there will be times where you'll use 1-3 coins and get a drop. Tips. Use one at a time. Use Three of Coins on one character between drops. In other words, don't use Three of Coins on another character if your first character didn't get a drop.

3oc is garbage. And it's crazy because they make you rely on this for exotics now that they have taken random exotic drops out of strikes and crucible. So now you have to use a peice of shit item that doesn't even guarantee you exotics to hopefully get something. And on top of that when you finally get an engram 9/10 times it's some bullshit you already got. So much for smart rng. Bungie can kick rocks with open toed shoes and suck dick with herpes on it. No one like pointless grind.

2 RespuestasWhere do you farm ? I usually farm venus and mars for taken champion ( works wonders ) I usually get an exotic when i am ALL ALONE fighting the taken. Remember, those 3 of coins have a cool down time i believe, DO NOT POP THEM EACH TIME, wait about 10 to 15 minutes. Bungie doesnt want us to know about that. Good luck

1 RespuestaThe effectiveness of the 3oC really depends on your RNG. I use one three of coins every 15 minutes and repeatedly kill the ultra knight on the dreadnaut and get a one drop every 4 3oC drop rate. Try this method.

Using more that one at a time doesn't increase your chances or stack. Just use one at a time. Any used after the first one are just wasted. The stacking effect works differently. If when you use a 3oC you do not receive an exotic engram from an ultra, the next 3oC you use had a slightly higher chance. This stacks until you do eventually receive an exotic engram.
