Tonight I have experienced absurdly unbalanced matches, seemingly intentionally inept matchmaking and then on top of it all, a ridiculous glitch I have never seen before as the icing on the cake. All that I wanted to do was to win a single Skirmish match to complete a Crucible bounty and in addition to making that goal impossible, Destiny somehow also felt that it was necessary to demoralize and frustrate me to the point of wondering if I should just quit playing this game altogether. I described the sequence of matches and provided a detailed explanation of the glitch in another post (this is the link): https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/172232532/0/0 After all of that nonsense, I tried to jump back into the Skirmish playlist with the naively optimistic and (as it turned out) utterly unfounded hope that I had maybe just gotten a series of extremely unlucky rolls and that I might get lucky this time around. Obviously that was simply not to be; I was doing my absolute best to help my team (I led my team's scoring from the start) and despite my best efforts, the other two players on my team both bailed to orbit, without 2 kills between the two of them, less than 3 minutes into the match because our team was already losing by more than 1000 points. At this point I literally think that a completely random matchmaking algorithm without any determining factors has the potential to be less ineffective than the current system. Whatever the approach, something has to be done. I would appreciate any feedback regarding other players' experiences with matchmaking, any tips or suggestions for improving odds of getting balanced matches and also any information regarding that glitch.
