1.) Pre-roll weapons. Once you've gotten the best weapons, why grind anymore? This creates clear cut winners and losers based on stats and convenient perks. Ever been chastised because you didn't have Malice/Spindle/Sleeper? This endgame community is riddled with elitism. This will only serve to broaden the gap between the haves and the have nots. Though I've heard talk of mods, Luke Smith hasn't given any concrete details so until I see them, I'm allowed to have reservations about watering down the grind system. Goodbye god rolls that feel like Christmas morning every time. 2.) Bungie likes to please the vocal minority. Since there will be clear cut winners and losers out of the weapon, the metas will be STRONGER than ever before. Which means the less skilled vocal minority who get tired of being killed by these weapons will complain. And those individual weapons will be nerfed. Metas will be as volatile as they are efficient. I don't see this boding especially well for our exotics. 3.) 4v4 is an issue because not everyone is a sweat-a-holic. I know PvP is expected to be competitive no matter what. But in a game with no dedicated servers, no ranking systems, and run by a team with shoddy balancing skills, it's useless to try and pass this game off as competitive. I play Overwatch comp and never not once have I ever had to deal with a player(s) teleporting across the map getting kills they should not be getting. Plus, I think it's ludicrous they even think about shoving such a competitive mindset down everyone's throats. Destiny PvP is casual at best. 4.) 2 Primaries. Slower TTK with less people to shoot at. Bor-ing! With a focus on a comp mindset, the level of sweat camps will be WAY too prevlent. Better get them tents ready. 5.) Power weapons. Being the fact that all specials and heavies are now one group, let me ask a question. Who the f*** uses a shotgun in raids or against rocket launchers in PvP? By doing this, Bungie is pretty much giving us useless weapon archetypes because in the grand scheme of things, getting too close to bosses isn't viable in most cases and you can't out gun a tracking rocket. Not to mention our community is greedy. Power ammo camping incoming. 6.) I make all of these inferences because I know how this community operates after having played this game for two years. I have fallen in love with the Destiny community for good and for worse. I don't want to see it fail, but all I'm seeing is a system this online community doesn't seem to be compatible with given my experience. Maybe I'm being Mr. Negative, idk. I'm doing the beta thing and hopefully it proves me all wrong which I will be MORE than glad to admit. But for now, all I'm seeing is a watered down game. I can make inferences about what something will taste like if I've tasted individual or similar ingredients before.

It is not all "hate", much of the discussion is merely healthy skepticism. Only a devoted fanboy would say that the Destiny 1 era has been flawless. Hey, I spent my money for 3 years. I even feel I got my moneys worth. However, that does not mean I am just going to blindly preorder D2. I stuck with Destiny hoping things would eventually improve. Some things did improve, many other things did not. D2 may just be the opportunity for a clean break, or maybe Bungievision may actually get it right. For myself, I will just wait to see what transpires with the beta and decide then.

I'm violently allergic to seafood and I'm also lactose intolerant. One of those things would kill me if I ingested it, the other would make me violently sick. I'm pretty certain that judge wether a meal is palatable for me based solely on what the ingredients are.

This really is a bad comparison. But, I think I can sum up a few groups of those throwing their hate/concerns/beefs with D2... The Bitch Ass Trolls. Haven't played since Y1, but still frequent the forums to talk shit. Only God knows why they are still here. The Jaded Gaurdian. Folks they kept playing despite all the dick slaps to the face to their favorite weapons, classes, ext for one reason or another (social, nothing better to do, no real competition out there). So jaded anything negative they are all over like flies on shit and bemoaning. I feel for them... They been through a lot to get here. The Hopeful Guardian. The players that have made the best of the positives and negatives of D1, it's changes, its triumphs and failures. Those who feel that even though their overall experience has been a positive one, they really are hoping it'll be better this next time around. That they'll keep engaged because of good decisions and moves by Bungie, not IN SPITE OF BAD ONES. But as each major piece of information that details how D2 will be, they are met with disappointment. They almost can't believe it... it WAS SUPPOSED TO BE BETTER THIS TIME!!!! And so on....

The first game's story was all over the place. They could not decide on a leveling system to stick too till they released The Taken King which resulted in guns we grinded for being left in year one. That was time wasted which Deej lied by saying, "we don't want you guys to feel like your favorite guns have become obsolete." They nerfed our favorite guns because they wanted us to move on to other guns that were not popular instead of bringing them up. They misled us on certain info without clarifying right off the bat but instead just left things where people felt lied too while never apologizing about it (Deej). Then blamed us for their mix up. Over priced Dlc's like Dark Below and House of Wolves. Introducing raids and events like Prison of Elders and leaving them obsolete for a long while till they reading to address them. They introduce micotransactions on cute stuff that should carry over like emotes and sparrows. They nerfed special ammo in PVP causing people to either quit or to adjust. Release of Rise of Iron was so bad that amounts of people were put in ques to wait to play. A problem that should have been prepared for with them selling preorders. The story was way too short and not challenging enough. The final boss was a joke. I am not talking about the raid boss but the story boss. Yeah I will wait till the bargin bin if I get it.

Of course not, but every game is open to criticism, Destiny 2 is not exempt. We've seen very little and heard very little, so that's all we have so far, and what we have is not good.

The more ingredients in said meal that you don't like the more likely you are to dislike that meal.
