Of course not, but every game is open to criticism, Destiny 2 is not exempt. We've seen very little and heard very little, so that's all we have so far, and what we have is not good.

"Not good" is subjective. I will reserve judgment until I play it. Until then, Ill stay optimistic.
-
Yes, it is subjective, but the majority of the forums seems to not like what they're hearing so far. Destiny 2 seems to have streamlined alot of its features and mechanics while disallowing us to further customize our guardian with the amount of depth as the first game. That is why people are upset. Bungie needs to be more transparent, because first impressions are important.
-
Just because the negative minority are more vocal, doesn't mean they outweigh those who remain optimistic. In fact, every post that is negative about D2 barely gets any likes. And those that are positive, begin to trend.
-
And if you look at the Trending right now, those "positive" threads - the ones with the higher upvotes, have very little or nothing to do with Destiny 2. Hell there's even 2-3 threads with higher votes asking people to wait on pre-ordering the game. You can be optimistic and still wait on being pre-ordering a game. Being optimistic doesn't mean you should also be an idiot and blindly pre-order when we still have very little information. At least wait until the beta, at the very least then people have something they can work with.
-
I aint talking about pre-ordering. Not sure why you keep bringing that up. I am just simply stating that most people are judging a game that they truly know next to nothing about. And more specifically, they haven't the slightest clue how it will FEEL. I am excited for D2, and I didn't pre-order btw.

Because of the aforementioned reasons for not doing so. People aren't liking what they're hearing because
Destiny 2 seems to have streamlined alot of its features and mechanics while disallowing us to further customize our guardian with the amount of depth as the first game.
The only thing people are waiting on now is the beta which will give more insight in the form of gameplay experience, how people think the game will feel. I can be optimistic about a game, and still have a healthy dose of skepticism about it too, because I want to know what I'll be paying for.
-
Sure man. I have criticism about certain things. But, for the most part, I have wanted 99.9% of the changes I have seen so far.

I personally don't care either way. My only gripe is how they went about their lackluster, pseudo-matchmaking for Raids, whereas literally every other game to ever exist has a traditional, working system, skillsets and attitudes be damned.
