My personal belief is that oryx is still alive and he could be the one pulling the strings and contacting uldren

oryx was killed in his throne world, and therefore is dead for good. It is very clear in d2 that savathun is the one controlling the taken and pulling the strings. She’s even the cunning witch queen for -blam!-’s sake her entire character is a string pulling double crosser.

Bearbeitet von lord of rurrs: 7/19/2018 6:14:41 PMin the books of sorrow it was mentioned when oryx took down the quadria i believe the blade mind that it managed to simulate oryx and encapsulate it in a seperate timeline he gave that simulation of himself over to savathun to do what she wished. it's my belief the mind did this to try and find a way to kill oryx through trial and error but after taking away everything his tablets his throne his worm it failed that was in the actual lore that it simulated a seemingly powerless oryx so who knows.

Just ask him yourself. He's still floating in Saturn's orbit last I checked.
-
Nope. Killed in his ascendent realm, like Crota. They are both 100% dead. Savathun, Nokris, and Oryx’s third sister are all still alive
-
He's dead. He was killed in his acendant relm, he's gone.
-
KING’S FALL. Nuff said. He dead.
-
We killed him in his Throne World, he’s dead for good my guy
-
We killed him in his Throne World. He’s gone. It’s not him. It’s Savathûn.
-
Getting killed in our realm and his Ascendant Realm kind of puts a big damper on his ability to come back. Plus we shoved his worm into a rifle...which either got nuked along with most of our other weapons when the Red Legion hit....or....Eris jacked it from under our noses.
-
Oryx. Is. Dead. The only way he comes back is if Savathun or Xivu Arath recreate him by manifesting his defining character trait: his curiosity. This is how he brought them back after killing them in acquiring the power he needed to slay Akka. Xivu Arath might be inclined to do this. But Savathun has always wanted Oryx out of her way, and is unlikely to do anything that brings him back unless her own survival is at stake.
-
Nah unless he defrosts
-
NO. HE WAS KILLED IN HIS THRONE WORLD, WHICH MEANS HE CANNOT COME BACK.
-
-
Nah he died with all the other good idea's bungie had for the first game.
-
Well if you saw when Ghaul became a big cloud thing, if you look slow motion when he is opening his wings.. he looks just like Oryx.. I totally was like (during this part) Oh shit it's Oryx! And then it finished and it was Ghaul.. Would've been awesome of Ghaul had become posessed by Oryx and that lead him to come and attack us, only by joining with the light and dying he became his Final Form.
-
Is Crota truly dead? Wasn't his throne in the physical realm?
-
He be chillin wit 2Pac.
-
No. Hes dead, good and proper. True, he did manage to bring back Savathun and Xivu Arath, but on the basis of that precedent, I think there would be a requirement of us as the slayers of Oryx to be willing to resurrect him.
-
He's dead. Nokris is dead. We killed him in his ascended realm, in his throne world where his soul and true self was hiding. We killed him, and he isnt coming back. His "worm" however... I believe that is the thing swimming around on Titan.
-
The problem is, if you argue Oryx is alive for any reason because ascendant realm.... Then the same could be said about Crota, and if Crota wasn’t dead Oryx wouldn’t have come
-
I'll ask him....... He didn't answer cuz he dead.
-
-
He's dead
-
Read the BoS thoroughly and it will confirm his death. Read the BoS quickly and you will miss the key passages that confirm this fact.
-
No, he’s definitely dead. We killed him inside of his dreadnaught which was his mobile ascendant realm. He dead.
