Oryx.
Is.
Dead.
The only way he comes back is if Savathun or Xivu Arath recreate him by manifesting his defining character trait: his curiosity.
This is how he brought them back after killing them in acquiring the power he needed to slay Akka.
Xivu Arath might be inclined to do this. But Savathun has always wanted Oryx out of her way, and is unlikely to do anything that brings him back unless her own survival is at stake.

Actually no, he is permanently dead. While yes you are correct in that that killed each other in their throne world, and brought each other back through definition of what made them them, he is sill dead. Xivu, savathun, And oryx killed each other not in their own realm. Oryx would kill savathun in oryx’s throne, or xivu’s. Never in Savathun’s. A death in their own throne world is a true death, and cannot be resurrected.
-
That’s only possible when they aren’t killed in their throne world. Oryx was able to resurrect his sisters because he killed them in his throne world. Now that we killed Oryx in his throne world, he is likely dead for good and unable to be brought back
-
Agreed. But I had to allow for that possibility because I recall that Oryx claimed in The Book of Sorrows that they were "real deaths" because they occurred in a throne world, and that only he had the power to bring them back. But I believe Oryx is dead...and not coming back.

-
No, he can’t. He’s gone for good.

Oryx and all other ascendant hive have and currently practice undoing their deaths...well not Oryx currently This is why they have throne worlds and over souls. Omnigul was killed in a factory in Russia. She didn't die in a Hive nether world. She is likely very much still alive...unless Bungie just goes with the mindset that you have to just hit them really hard to kill them for good like that stupid knight in the D2 Arcology adventure.
