For Fkks sake bring back skill based matchmaking - Crucible sucks

SBMM = Easier time for casuals. CBMM = Easier time for sweaties.

Though I am not good I am not any worse than I was in d1 with a k/d 1.1-1.2. I am last place every match.

4 RepliesYup. For Iron Bladder "Solo" play list, I keep running into 3+ people who are using Adept Trials weapons and have Flawless Titles. I have a K/D < 1. And if your going to tell me it's connection based matchmaking, why am I in Alberta Canada being matched with people that have USSR, Korean, Chinese and Japanese Gamer Tags on Xbox, instead of North America? The sad truth is so few people are playing that Bungle has to match anyone that is willing to play it in the world now. The game is teetering on the Abyss of losing all it's player base.

They need either : • A new, less strict, wider pool of SBMM. Or • A variable pool, where finer grades are in the middle ranges of skill - most players, like a bell curve, and much wider pools are at either ends. That way v high end players aren't waiting all day yet still aren't killing multiple 0.7kd players game. Either, or.

I don’t care what they say, there is NO WAY l am running a fiber connection and getting most matches with players from Spain, and other overseas countries. Plus, if your IPS is only providing 50mb service, how can anyone be utilized as the host? Can’t be done. Haven’t y’all noticed that most games on crucible, even if fireteams aren’t allowed, are mostly one sided. Your team either mercies the opposing team or they mercy your team. No balance whatsoever. Bungie needs to contact TREYARCH who wrote the code for Black Ops 2.

Im actually enjoying cbmm, but bungie should do cbmm and sbmm at the same time.

65 RepliesIt doesnt work, sbmm was removed because if this, you would be quick enough to moan that you are connecting to people from other continents quick enough because sbmm doesnt factor in where you are to the other players on a peer to peer server. Then it becomes a laggy mess The only thing to do is get better, i know it sounds like a bad reaponse but it is the healthiest way. Get better at positioning, understand the guns and abilities you use to utilise them most efficiently, practice more advanced movement. It is going to be tough but sbmm creates more issues than it solves. Plus stasis will get nerfed soon enough so we have that to look forward to.

SBMM will make it suck more, you’ll be forced to play people just as good as you and will always feel like your living in person indefinite competition.

It’ll make it worse, if not impossible. You will essentially be f*cling annihilated by Stasis and Fellwinters unless you yourself use it. I will literally quit PvP, as it already has no skill gap, and this will further push sweaty, stasis filled matches.

As long as the game has P2P SBMM should not be a thing, the game does not need any more lag, thats what you always get when you start matchmaking people without a connection quality preference. Crucible sucks because of stasis, not because SBMM is not a thing.

4 RepliesThat already ruined the game once and that's why it's gone from regular Crucible. SBMM belongs in Comp and thats it. Plus, it's been gone for awhile now from IB. Everyone is gonna get they're asses whooped once in while, so suck it up. And this is from someone who doesn't play trials, never been flawless in D2 and has 1.15 kd.

Just stop it. There was never a skill based matchmaking. There was an enforced 50% win/lose rate.

Idk about SBMM being the problem solver. The past two CODs had SBMM and it was the worse experience especially for players that are good but not top 1% because it will match you with the top 1%. At no time could I just mess around with a fun build. I needed to be sweating nonstop which is not why I play games. As it has been stated many times, the game needs a huge balance overhaul of stasis and guns. The 120 HC/Shotgun when combined with stasis has sucked the fun out of crucible. I just don’t understand why Bungie is ignoring the community blatantly. It’s so frustrating watching one of my favorite games get ran into the ground.
