With SBMM, one team or the other keeps getting quitters. It feels really crap being on the end of it, having 2 people leave in a game. And because it's SBMM, the other team go harder 6v4, so more quit and the game never fully fills quick enough. The experience is really poor.
A lot of people say "I was getting stomped on by sweats all the time" the truth is you are probably below average, so an average looks like a sweat because they rush with a shotgun.
Either way, quitting is a really really really big issue that I've had especially in lobbies where people are playing like there's a talent scout just waiting to sign them after the game.
In control, I'd put on some red borders or crafted weapons to level up and have fun, but if I'm not playing meta or I have all these quitters, there's no fun at all.

Every sbmm game I played 4+ people left.

1 ReplyI would say that’s not been my experience. I’ve seen 1 person quit since the start of the season

It's the lack of syngery between teammates, I don't mind losing, I mind when my TEAM-mates can't ACT like a team. One hunter ones off because he's got title call firemastsr, or unbroken, yet he does first thing to a sniper EVERYONE should know is there, then the titan runs off to go punch people I dip because you are BOTH acting INDEPENDENTLY from the rest of the unit. We are about to get slaughter, and it WILL BE FASTER/more efficient to find a new match. I have had more fun with Warlocks who act as a team but many times I leave because this is Freelance Glory Survival and expecting non-verbal teamwork is not that hard to achieve IF YOU TRY. If you run into PvP acting like a man who needs no teammates I will watch gleefully as you die repeatedly and then I'll dip when we are out life's you wasted.

"especially in lobbies where people are playing like there's a talent scout just waiting to sign them after the game." Sounds like every match half of us had for years. Enjoy your skill bracket.

Crybabies who can’t handle finding out they aren’t as good as they think.

Just had a game, there is a total of 10 players on our side lmao, and only 3 of us still in the game for the last min or so. We were 40+ points behind the game. Bungies data seem to indicate less lopsided games but my experience is the opposite unfortunately

Might as well just move the quit penalty over from survival... too.
-
15 RepliesThat’s why we quickly need a quiterpenalty like in competitive and it’s comming let these sweats burn

4 Replies4% isn't massive tbh

Gotta protect that k/d.

That always happened in CBMM too. Just people trying to bash on SBMM.
-
7 Replies1.no 2. Peoples quit in cbmm too and way more Stop speeding false narrative in order to want it to change back You guys had your time to abuse quick play now its time that it's fair for everyone

I don't understand why they quit. It's just going to put them into the same kind of games until they lose more and settle into their actual skill rank.
-
45 RepliesThis is a byproduct of people not enjoying PvP.

Matches have become beyond boring most of the time and are blowouts more often than last season

3 RepliesThere is no QuickPlay. Bungie removed this queue more than a year ago when gamers wanted to choose their match type. They were leaving a match as soon as it began. Matchmaking was not quick anymore. Bungie’s solution to improve matchmaking time was crossplay. QuickPlay was a short-lived queue that provided random Control and Clash matches through a queue. It is long gone and never coming back. The name does NOT refer to the speed at which matchmaking occurs in a single playlist. Control has replaced QuickPlay. Read the description before you click on the queue.
