Maybe people shouldn't load into PvP in the first place if they're not enjoying it.
-
Easily could have been said for the casuals that complained in CBMM
-
Quitting is a byproduct of quitting doesn't count towards your seasonal kda

Edited by olderfella: 9/3/2022 12:42:37 PMWhy do you care so much about your kd, it means nothing in this game. Every time you post you are worried about someone else’s kd. You can go play some of the other modes that also have sbmm and a leave penalty but for some reason you will not, hmm 🤔
-
KD matters because if the whole purpose of the mode is to WIN, then I’d want people who know how to WIN. I’m not one to post “must have ___ KD to join” but it’s posted for the people that want to achieve the objective of the mode. WINNING. SBMM has made this even more frequent. Nothing but stacks of 3+. Really only way to win in QP now.
-
The whole conversation is about a casual mode and kd does not matter in casual a casual mode, only to the individual themselves.
-
Are 0.8kd players gonna beat 1.8's? KD matters.
-
Edited by olderfella: 9/3/2022 2:02:25 PMI beat higher kd players everyday. You can have a high kd in this game and not have the ability to win a one on one. You can also have a high kd in this game and absolutely suck. Kd is just one stat that can be manipulated in this game. I grew in pvp by playing those better than me and eventually beating them. Again, we are talking about a casual mode.
-
Anyone can “beat” anyone on Ones. But you’re not gonna beat a team of 1.8’s when you’re the only good player consistently. Not gonna happen. Hence why teams with players of higher Kd’s tend to win more games. It’s in the stats dude.
-
Agreed in competitive modes but again we are talking about a casual mode where winning is not everyone’s goal.
-
I'm informing people why players are quitting... It is a reaction to sbmm from " good players" kd is the only thing that matters in control... Not winning or losing, same loot! At the end of a control match the only thing that matters is how did I do. Players who quit abuse sbmm because they can't have the same level of dominance as they once did in cbmm. ffs all you have to do is watch the pvp YouTubers suffering ATM with lower kds less videos uploaded nobody wants to watch or upload mediocre play, most abandoning control in favor of rumble.
-
I have seen so many posts where people have told you specifically why they are quitting but you only care about your made up nonsense. I am not obsessed with Youtubers like you are so I could not tell if their putting more or less content out and why. You keep trying to act like your are some kind of Sherlock Holmes putting the pieces together to uncover the conspiracy. Here is a giant clue that has been told to you a bunch on these forums but it escaped you, everyone is leaving or quitting because sbmm is not working. The only ones that think it is working are the newbies to pvp that have no idea.
-
Sbmm is working it is only not working for the top players that's it. If you are too ignorant to not be able to see with your own eyes what is really happening then that is on you. The truth is simple the players who benefited from easy matches are no longer happy facing similar skilled players all the time.... Do new or lower skill players, ever get a break? Do they get to go in and test meme weapons and pop off dropping 40 and a we ran with sweet business? No... Why shouldn't everyone face their own.... You're seeing players with a false skill level stacking or kd quitting, getting put in their place... N now it's a problem... What about the players they have abused for years in pvp because they made their experience awful...
-
Edited by Puma Kane: 9/3/2022 1:17:48 PMThats not true. There are all sorts of players quitting for all sorts of reasons. Bungie hasn't even figured it out yet, but you have??? And teasing people because they are unhappy is weird AF.
-
Yup some people quit for other reasons you're correct... Hate the map, bad connections, mom called in the middle of a match, lag, playing stacks, join in progress.. Main reason in high skill control players are quitting... They are having a bad match and they know if they leave it will not affect their kd and there is no repercussions for quitting.... Trust, if Bungie implemented if you quit a match your KD in that match counts.. less people would quit.
-
Well from my personal experience, lag has gone from every 3-4 games to each and every game. Its not enjoyable at all.
-
Edited by Chunk: 9/3/2022 1:43:34 PMYou have not played pvp this season, it is literally posts like this attempting sbmm sabotage for no reason at all...
-
Haha, it is like you are allergic to the truth.
-
You have not played pvp this season
Say what?
-
You have no pvp stats from this season.... Gambit only.
-
I haven't played Gambit this season.
-
You have 0 pvp stats...
-
You do not even know how to read stats but you want to see everyone’s stats, 🤦♂️
-
You need to look again. 95% of my playtime is Control, hero.
