Alright Bungie. I think I get it.

So the recent smattering of complaints over the size of maps and the number of exploreable terrain had me thinking. Maybe we have got this all wrong. Obviously we aren't looking at this the same way Bungie is. Destiny, Legend, consistent Guardians across titles. These things tell me it isn't about the size of the game, it's about your personal story, your personal Guardian as you make your way through it. Some will be forged in the Crucible, others will be lost in the wilderness on endless patrols, and still others will only go where the story tells them. But each will have a tale to tell. Each guardian will be unlike all the rest. Armor choice, weapon choice, powers, passives and shades will all guarantee that my guardian will be completely different than anyone else's. There may be similarities, but it will all be mine. The territory is unimportant, what we do in it is what matters. Think of it this way, every single football game was played on a patch of grass 100 yards long. Each exactly the same. But no two games have ever been alike. That's pretty cool, in my opinion. .....so that's it. I'm ready now. Bring on the 9th.
