Don't they know I'm surrounded by Godslayers with 12 to 13k triumph score?

I don’t understand why they’re making normal mode harder. It doesn’t need it. Now I can’t trust basically any LFG I run with. I’m fine with them making the higher difficulty versions more challenging. But there’s no point in raising the difficulty floor.

I also don’t get it why Bungie keeps trying to make it harder and harder. Light level caps, champions, more modifiers, more complicated mechanics, 1 res token, more enemies, more annoying enemy mechanics. I think they should tweak it down a bit. They are trying to push too hard to satisfy the die hard players. I myself am a day 1 player. Basically finished everything in this game except the new raid because I haven’t even started it yet. Trying to find an LFG team all the time and the toxicity sometimes just holds me back from going there again after doing Pantheon and getting the Godslayer title. Also Trials is taken too serious. Players always saying that this game mode is for the best players only while the stats show 20% of the players playing Trials are cheating. For me I wouldn’t care if they make it a bit easier and more accessible so everyone can have fun.

It's not as bad as you're making it seem. Y'all are just too comfortable being OP for the past 10 years. Keep it out of vanguard strikes though, they should let us over level as much as we possibly can in there. I wanna see 2030 sweat lords 1 tap bosses

I give up. Did a solo sephra shield. Died so many times, by one shot sniper shank. Have done it previously solo flawlessly. Helped others in legend. So, has normal become legend? Legend become master.? I play a game to have fun. Not to be killed in spawns. Change everything back. You killed the game and the fun. If gamers want hard, let there be an option. Give them better loot. If gamers want an easier run, give them the option. Give them standard loot. Bring back bounties. Yes, path finder is easier. But there was nothing wrong with the old way. Biggest waste of $150au IF IT ISN'T BROKEN, THEN DONT ATTEMPT TO FIX IT -
Simple solution. Everyone stop playing the game for a while. Demand the changes you want and quit playing. Not gonna happen cause thus game is full of hopeless addicts. Not players. Not trying to be mean but it's really true. Some serious addicts on this game.

They didn’t need to touch anything else. there’s all kinds of builds I like to run, but you end up running just a set few, which is no fun

I was able to solo my way to the last boss encounter in Spire of the Watcher this week, but the standard vex goblins felt like they had more health. That or maybe the combination blow isn’t a one hit until after you get your first kill with it? But yeah I felt like I was taking more beatings than the last time I attempted to do it solo, which was a while ago.

Increasing difficulty throughout the game increases time spent playing which I’m pretty sure was Bungie’s intention with these changes.

I would of liked the class item , but the symbols are so tiny and my eyes are not as good as they once was. and fighting off the holds . running up there to see what symbol l needed just didn't work out ,can't see the little things. i.dI'd the kvostok mission and got the exotic version . that was a very long haul , and I'm not that impressed with the gun. but it's unfortunate about the symbols but there just to small ,sure wish bungie could make them bigger.

They didnt do it just to dungeons and raids, also the normal vangard ops playlist and im pretty sure gambit as well. They also added in champs to normal vangard strikes (so far ive only seen one in heist europa).

Personally this was bad change This is going to affect solo dungeons They should actually make master raids and dungeon have 0 surges and keep them at -20 with consistent reward structure

Outgoing damage isn’t necessarily the issue (even if having to match the surge isn’t fun) it’s the ~20% increased incoming damage. You’re so much more fragile it’s ridiculous. This is extremely felt in a couple of encounters (Salvation’s Edge 2nd encounter’s stasis psions are a great example). It’s not a huge deal for me to survive, but trying to get lfg randoms through it has been extremely frustrating

Kind of silly that you have to be 2 persons to get the exotic class item as well.

This is not a wise move, it’s basically cutting off some players from completing harder dungeons like gotd or wr.. if you don’t have a good build, it’s highly likely boss dmg will take too long or some players will keep dying over n over so ultimately you might end up kicking them.. this move aint good at all

Might not affect much but isnt the whole drive in this and other similar games to become powerful? I'm not feeling that powerful when regardless of how much I gear up and advance I'll still only be on par with whatever content I'm trying to beat. Would have been fun to steamroll old content solo - stuff you havent had time or the will to find a group for in the past.

One wasteland its called in fallout 76, Its a cheap developers trick to make all older content as difficult and relevant as newer content. Its also a good way of not having to balance new abilities and weapons with every update, as every update will be 5 levels above so you will never fight “easy” or “hard” areas. Of course, it means that you really need to focus heavily on good meta builds to get that edge and steamroll stuff again. -5 is not really that much harder, it is true. But it has set the base difficulty factor in all raids and dungeons to a standard level. So no more VoG and Shattered Throne being the “easy” ones, now they all have the same handicap. Elitists wet dream - “I want a challenge” 😆
