I don’t believe it is. I believe the Veil simply connects to the dimension inside the Traveler and that’s where the power itself comes from. Neomuna has been just tapping into the that dimension without fully understanding it.

We don’t fully know what the veil is but it is true that neomuna does in fact use it to power the cloud ark so it does produce some form of harvestable energy. What we do now about it is: 1. It is connected to the Traveler in some form and enables access to it in some fashion. 2. Savathün obtained it during the collapse at some point, it’s not clear if she stole it from Nezerac and the Witness or obtained it in some other way. However, once she obtained it she hid it away on Neptune, where the Ishtar collective found it. 3. The Vex are extremely interested in the veil, the Cloud Arc and strand. 4. The energy that is Strand seems to be empowered by the veil and that enabled the guardian (or maybe just paracausal entities in general) to detect it while in proximity to the veil, and would eventually lead to it being weldable by those aware of its existence. 5. It seems to feed off dark energy in a similar way to that of the nine do; as it reacted to the return of Titan and is implied to have done that when Mars returned as well. 6. It is connected to Ahsa and the entity hiding in the cloud ark in some way. The leading theory is that the veil is the white heart of the Traveler. This is an object mentioned in the lore and is stated to be the key to the traveler and that black heart was an attempted simulation of it. I have seen other players mention this as a possibility when the lore of the veil was discussed and they made a persuasive argument for this; I’m inclined to believe them but I’m not an expert on this so take it with a grain of salt.

Thx![/quote] False, the veil from what we know is an entry point to a plane of existence where there’s a balance between the forces of light and dark This is confirmed when the Witnessed used the ghost to create a paracausal link from the veil directly to the traveler
