Anyone else been feeling bungie is catering to sweats a lil too much here? Like I had good 6 whole new ppl on destiny and they enjoyed it and now ever since LF dropped it’s become so difficult for them they all left. Something tells me a lot of ppl feel the way. They completely ruined casual plates for ppl like them all for what; because some sweats where crying about them game being to easy for them because they have no life’s n tried to find the slightest thing and make it broken. It’s ridiculous like when they lowered the resilience and made us under lvl they couldn’t have chosen either? Casual play has been it’s life blood since D1 and yet they’re really are deciding to give new light players the finger. Like that’s crazy to me running a business like this common sense would say that you would always appeal to the majority not the minority. Compared to the casual player that “used to exist” the sweats are the minority. It’s like they want their game to die. They don’t even teach new light about armor fusing like why not the community is not always gonna pick up the slack of those workin on this game for them some might but most well just kick them too the curb which means another person leaving the game+not buying dlc= less money for them which might not seem like a lot until you start adding up every dlc(assuming that they intended on buying every dlc) than multiply that by the number of ppl who started n left because of difficulty, sweats treating them, or seeing bad reviews for what’s goin on rn.

Probably because they main a different game and lack the gumption to stick with anything new. -
Well, what do you expect when a business and streamers work with one another to use the player base to make money? It's a joke, but the joke is literally about all of you. This game was never about creating a game for the player base as well as the business as it was originally meant for when they started working on D1. You could see the passion, the creativity, the inspiration the original devs had that actually had a say, but this business greed got in the way, and the base game is all the proof anyone needs that explains why things are the way they are today. It was always about the business, and guess who is always behind them supporting them 99.99% of the time that rarely even attempts to support the community because they get invited to the studio, the business gives them gifts, and even designed content only for them to play while you watch? Oh, and if you were sleeping and missed out on something. You can complain that you were sleeping so the dives can fix it for you. Or, you can cheat for years until it's out of control that the business can't hide it anymore that they have to do something about it. Despite anyone's "opinion" about me, this game is a huge mess because of this business/streamers that the only time this game reached its peak that it was actually enjoyable for (most of the player base) was when Activision was around with Forsaken. Anything before that and after that was only this business screwring things up as usual.

Cater to casuals! - antigo
I think the nerfs to abilities and adding of bullet sponges (fake difficulty) was not good for engagement with the game… I do feel a lot of this is to appease a few very vocal streamers -
"a lil". Good one. Every bit of content is made for streamers these days. Bungie caters their entire new gameplay strategie to these cringe neckbeards just because they do some advertisement for the game. Satisfying these 24/7 playing clowns seems to be Bungies main prio these days. They dont represent "the community" as Bungie often said. They represent their own monetizational benefit. They want to be kept busy with the game for unhuman amounts of hours and therefor gave that "feedback" of the game being to easy to the devs a million times. Its entirely Bungies fault. Obviously these streamer clowns only have their own interest in mind. Stop listening to them as they are clearly not a part or representor of the community. They are an elitist minority.
-
Yep. For the most part they always have. The majority have paid for the minority’s game for most of destiny 2. Just look at any endgame stats. Bungie is a group of elitist snobs which makes it funny when they preach about social inclusion…..ironic.
-
They have done it for years, because sweats often stream, and they cater to them as it is easy marketing, reaching a few hundred thousand folk for free is damn cheaper than spending the same on adverts, so they cater the game to them at times
-
LoL no “sweat” asked for a Graviton Meta… You’re in denial.
-
They aren’t catering to anyone and if they’re listening to anybody it’s not the sweats.
-
Nah, don’t blame the people who found the game too easy… blame Bungie for putting base difficulty up instead of adding additional layers of challenge…. The game is pretty easy though
-
Are you sure you are Playing Destiny 2?
-
On god, if you think bungie are catering to sweaty players you need brain cells my guy. This seasons PvP has completely destroyed the fun in PvP for the sweats because they make the game for you. Stop complaining because your a .8 with 0 skill
-
With all due respect, you clearly have no idea what you're talking about. This game is heavily sided on the casual player side.
-
Lol what? If anything bungie has catered too much to the casuals. Iron banner right now is a freaking tournament right now, its miserable. I regret getting good at this game
-
No you're wrong, this game is dedicated to casuals. That's why they Nerfed Neomuna
-
Your argument makes no sense. You keep saying the game is being ruined for casuals, but then keep using New Lights as examples. Casuals and New Lights are two different groups of players. New Lights have never touched the game before, while Casuals know what they're doing.
-
you are delusional. The game is way too easy overall. I cant even be bothered to do the master content. 90% of content is made for casuals.
-
People have been saying that for 5 years now, and before that it was that they were catering to casuals and children.
-
Not really bro … they want everyone’s money equally lol
-
What I have been earing is the exatact opposite. Endgame where it should be hard, raids, gms, trials and dungeons ( not the deep) are easy af, but neomuna patrol, the story and strikes are hard af to the genaral public, the issue is the switch
-
Editado por BulbaSmasher: 6/5/2023 5:24:28 AMCan you elaborate? Whats actually hard? Lol they already nerfed the game and buffed us lol.. the hardest thing we had in 7 years was avalon legend and was nerfed.. now the dungeon (I guess lol since people don't know how to add control).. and that will be nerf.. what pray tell is actually hard for 6 people? Loñ
-
Yep, for example couldn't do last few contents at the end of season Seraph. Should have done it in legendary and that is not possible. Don't have time for the game that much and would be nice to do tasks which belong to questline. Now in Neomuna you are cosntantly under leveled, in Deep you are underleveled etc.

The game is in the easiest state it’s ever been in. All it takes is a 3 minute google search on a half decent build and ur essentially unkillable -
i think everyone getting mad at the difficulty increase should simply improve.

1st-paragraphs 2nd-expand your vocabulary beyond the word like 3rd-what exactly in pve is too hard? Every match made activity and patrol space is fairly simple and straightforward. -
Paragraph breaks, bro.
