In order to enable Cross-Save, all accounts must be authenticated. In order to add an account to your Bungie.net profile, an already-connected account has to be authenticated to log in on Bungie.net first before a new account can be connected. In other words, at least one of your non-Stadia accounts was logged in to in order to add the Stadia account to your Bungie.net profile. In order to disable Cross-Save, all linked accounts must be authenticated to. In order to unlink an account, that account must be able to be authenticated to. Authentication is part of the security in place. If you cannot fulfill the authentication requirements, then you cannot disable Cross-Save, and you will not be able to unlink an account. If an account was added to your Bungie.net profile that isn't yours, I would suggest changing the login credentials of each of your connected accounts, as one of them was logged into in order to add the Stadia account, and if you didn't do it, that means someone else has your login information for at least one, if not multiple, of those other accounts. Bungie will not forcefully disable Cross-Save or unlink an account that you cannot authenticate to. As said before, authentication is part of the security measures in place. Sadly, if you have lost full control of your Bungie.net profile through someone else having access to it that isn't you, you should consider your save data compromised and lost and protect your other accounts by changing the login credentials on your other accounts. Do not pay a ransom for your data, as there is no guarantee that they can or will undo the damage to your save data. If you are being extorted, please contact your local authorities concerning the threats and harassment as extortion is illegal. Unfortunately, the security of each of your platform accounts is your responsibility. • You will need to work with Google. Bungie doesn't store any of our login information and they will NOT forcefully remove an account. All accounts must be authenticated.
