I don't think this has anything to do with D2.
But, I did have the same issue with that controller.
Finally I just gave up and bought a USB cable to connect the controller.

That sucks, at least i know I'm not the only one with this issue. I would really enjoy using my controller wirelessly since i paid nearly 80$ for this design labs controller. I might contact xbox support and see if there is anything they can do. I wonder if ALL these controllers are having issues or it's just certain ones. if it was ALL of them Microsoft would have probably fixed it by now. It's weird how my old xbox one controller never had any issue with its wireless capability. Thanks for replying my guy!

You aren't the only one. I've tried several different computers. I upgraded to the new controllers for the series x, still disconnecting. The only way to fix it is to get the official wireless adapter or plug in via usb.

Yeah, I called Xbox support and they will try to fix the issue on the controller because it is warranty. but now I'm thinking there isn't a problem at all its more of a widespread defect of some kind....I just played the Halo: infinite flight today and it performed great (no disconnects) IDK why certain games are doing this. I guess I'll just deal with it for now and hope in some update it will get fixed.

Yeah I have been having this problem on my console recently while playing Destiny. I have tried it with 3 of my controllers (which are all updated and have fresh batteries) but am still having disconnecting issues at random times. It has only happened since the Witch Queen DLC though.
