What are “actual mechanics” to you then. Lot of complaints, no solutions.
You should have to get e mechanics right. You don’t complete encounters by doing things wrong.
Sounds like you’re just upset that it isn’t easy as crap to complete the raid for you.

Pay me a 5-figure salary, and then I'll give you encounter ideas. Until then, I'll give a broader answer: anything but this tripe. And of course, the classic "you're just bad" argument surfaces. Allow me to let you in on a little industry secret. It doesn't matter in the end if something is easy or hard; if it's boring, then it's boring. I don't go to my science-fantasy gun game to play Simon, and judging by how many people cheese Riven, I'm most certainly not the only one who's bored by that. The highest level content of a mobility-based shooter shouldn't be sitting in a spot reading a symbol. I like to think that wasn't what we signed up for.

So you have no ideas, just say that. That's why we leave raid design to the pros who have been making successful raids for 7 years

Who have reached the point of using the same mechanics over and over, leading to this post's existence. What? Do I smell a little Copium in the air? Or are you just using the bad counter-argument of "if it's so bad, why don't you do it?" I already said why: it's not my job. It's their job to make a mechanically engaging, fun raid experience. They've been failing at this because they make unfun encounters that are most certainly easier to make than actual new mechanics.

Good to know. I would also say content is “boring” if I wasn’t good enough to beat it too. Good thing I don’t have this problem.
