I was playing COD the other day when one of my friends dropped the “f” bomb, sort of just instinctively when he died and without any actual hatred toward gay people. Well we had a gay person in the party. She said something to the effect of “I can tolerate a lot of words, but not that one.” Didn’t make a big deal about it, didn’t tell him he needed to get better as a person. Guess what happened!
He said sorry, and we put it behind us instantly. Had a good laugh at him later of course. Because that’s what actual friends do.

Funny how no one cares about the old F bomb, but we've got ourselves a new one. Good to know that we once again have offensive language, even if the words have changed. 1800's: "big big D" 1900's: "the F word" 2000's: "hate speech"

Ok? I’m sorry if I missed your point.
