Games should make you wanna waste your time, not waste your time.

thats it so true. Removing the costs for armor mods is a step to the first point of yours :D

Editado por Bearded Midget: 5/6/2021 5:22:31 AMI hear it and I see it a lot from others that say this game is a looter shooter. But I argue that it's not. They ask me why? Because you don't get the loot! And your guns are nerfed. So you don't get the loot, and your guns are toys with foam bullets. Lmao. Looter shooter my A. It's a farm. Game got hamsters on wheels and cows being milked. Lmao.

Well too bad. You all wanted sun-setting to go away and now gear acquisition has to be unbearable low because once you get a weapon with the roll you want, you keep that forever.
-
Yeah the thing Ive always hated about grinds like dreaming city and reckoning is that 99% of your time is useless, and you are never sure when you will get your next drop. In dreaming city, retold tale is the only drop worth playing for. Sleepless is outclassed by other rockets, waking vigil is literally like 40 base stat points behind the palindrome, vouchsafe just sucks, the armour always drops at sub 55 stat roll, but once in every long while you will get a retold. If the retold was worth it, though, is questionable; all the time you spent doing the activities that you DIDNT get it from was completely wasted. Every other drop is an instant dismantle with absolutey no value or use. In reckoning, spare rations was the best hand cannon in the game by far and away. In the loot pool with it was bug out bag, outlast, and the heavy GL all of which were useless. You would get a legendary drop one in every ~3 runs, which was an instant dismantle every time, and you would get a spare rations once every 4 or 5 legendaries which is one every 40 minutes-an hour roughly depending on luck. So you do reckoning 10, 15, 20 times and get one spare rations, and all those other runs were a complete waste of time. You either got a blue or 3 legendary shards. If you compare these to something like Menagerie or Forges, they are much more worth your time. You get your drop of choice every single time and not a single minute is wasted on a gun that you dont want; the only RNG you are fighting is the roll. I could grind forges for 2 hours and get a blast furnace guaranteed every 15 or 20 minutes, coming away with 6-7 chances at a god roll in the same amount of time that I would get 1, 2, MAYBE 3 spare rations.

Wow. Complaining about RNG in a game that's based off of RNG
-
I’ve farmed for the rocket and linear the whole season and nothing. The Umbral that gives a perk choice for the final column? I did that every week all season and every time I have got nothing but shards from those engrams. Grinding for so long then it being for nothing is so heartbreaking.

Editado por PVP SUX: 5/7/2021 12:46:11 AMThe RNG is ludicrous. People should get rewarded for harder difficulties and when they put effort into events. Nope it's all or nothing. i've got two exotics just playing the game. And nothing when doing strikes or raids. But instead being rewarded with some catalysts that i do not want. You did well on the Guardian games playlist. Here, catch a bluey! or do you want glimmer? Maybe doing some trails?, no? Why not undertake GMNF and get you a$$ handed to you?, ok so your team sucks, well not our fault that you were stupid enough to try to take on Lost sectors by yourself! Fun? Maybe if you are a masochist, well i'm not, i have no problem with difficulty, but to build a game more round hoarding and jumping with "precision" like crazy and not action is not what i characterize as fun. I really, really hate the taken dark levels, that must have been a really evil person that thought that up. As soon as i see that in the playlist i go to orbit.

In the words of the forbidden destiny streamer "player retention relies on respecting the players time, in which RNG doesn't"
-
I’ve played gacha games and felt more rewarded

I made this a while ago https://twitter.com/tower_vault/status/1368263494831906818?s=20
-
Dude, I feel you. I ran the raid to get Anarchy 9 times and didn't get it, yet people in my party got it twice. It is happening again these days with nightfall weapons. I have played the same nightfall as my friend and he has gotten the nightfall-specific weapons 3 times while I haven't. It also has extended to lost sectors. He has been able to get the exotics for legendary lost sectors, while I haven't once gotten an exotic for my trouble.
-
Played Gambit the other day with the clan. One guy kept getting Bottom Dollars yet I never even once got one in the several games we played.
-
Here’s the trick; when you really want something, you get the opposite. When you just don’t care, you get something amazing.
-
RNG is a myth. Its just Bungie making you earn pointless shit so you play again and again. I learned that a long while ago
-
I'm here hoping my bottom less grief thresh adept palidrome is good for something next season
-
I've never figured out why everyone keeps dropping the 'H'? Since with Bungo its really; RNGH!!! Really Not Going to Happen

Editado por Cervantes: 5/6/2021 1:56:37 PMApplies to pretty much all loot in D2: They gatekeep the good stuff behind enormous drop odds and roll combinations. Prime example: Frozen Orbit, with a 9,000 to 1 chance of getting a God Roll, if and when it drops). I have played for a year now almost exclusively as Titan main, done endless GMs, Lost Sectors, etc., and gotten less than half a dozen Dunemarchers, all of them bad rolls. Countless more examples I could give.
-
Must of done 50+ GMs this season and didn’t get any of the playlist rewards (Royal Entry, Third Axiom etc).
-
matter of perspective
-
There is no simple RNG in Destiny, Bungie tunes all the drop algorithms ie drop rates, rewards etc. All the RNG does is create an initial location point in the sample space after that the reward/drop algorithms takes over. It's been designed to be stingy since D1 started and D2 is no different. Bungie have admitted on a number of occasion that they have got it wrong and supposedly tuned it for a better outcome!
-
the state rolls on the armour are a joke. but its Bungie's poor way to frustrate you to go and buy silver and something from the Eververse store but the only thing its does is turn players away from the game. on my friends list over the pass few weeks there only one or two players playing Destiny. normally full up with players playing Destiny. Just another way Bungie turning players away from Destiny and not adding new ones
-
Editado por EV1LH0MER: 5/6/2021 9:35:41 AMAh yes, the weighted RNG in Destiny. Been a thorn in my side for years. I love this game but would love to be able to pick between rewards. Armor or weapons. I’ve run the POH so many times this season, getting mostly class items and armor. Still no Premonition. Bungie weighs it to one side or the other to keep us grinding. What they don’t realize is that we will still play a lot AFTER we get things we wanted.🤦♂️
-
Question, you played d1? Or you're a new light?
-
Mad cuz bad RNG.
-
I hate the bullet magnetism too my man .

Game hasn't changed much over 6 years. What's keeping you here?
