You don’t need any mods for end game content so end game is irrelevant. Banshee is more than enough.

Banshee is not more then enough. I'm currently at a point that I'm done with the whole RNG bullshit. Ever since coming back to Destiny shortly before Beyond Light dropped I've only acquired a few new mods while still needing a shit ton of mods. And it isn't just about having a good build for end-game content but also having the freedom and flexibility to play how you want. For example. I've seen a build for PVE which looks really fun and it combines Ticuu's with Warmind Cells. But i can't even use this build because i don't have all the required mods and getting those required mods might still take a few months based on the current horrible system that's in place.

Seasonal mods should be rare and not readily available constantly, they were a reward for plying that season. I have a friend that missed the warming cell season and he’s been patient checking each day for the mods he was missing. And before he had them he still did end game content constantly. I do end game content and only use the artifact mods. Do you do not need those mods, you’re just impatient and Bungie shouldn’t cater to impatience.

Again you're missing the point. Its not only about endgame content. its also about letting players be creative in creating their own builds and letting them play as they see fit. Also Warmind Cell Mods are almost a year old and Charged with Light Mods are even older. And here you are saying these mods should be rare. I don't mind not being able to buy these mods the season they were introduced but for some of these mods its been over a year. With Banshee's current system of RNG it would probably take you more then a year to acquire each combat style mod from previous seasons. This is a flawed system that promotes FOMO.

If you were really interested in being creative you wouldn’t be copying someone else’s build. You’d use what you have and make something yourself. So don’t give me the bs line that it’s about being creative when you’re just being impatient. Also if it want about end game then why is it a major part of your post about this?

Fun fact: Every build you design has already been created by somebody else. The sheer amount of people playing this game each day and creating builds means that everything you create has already been tried by somebody else. So your argument falls flat.

Except you aren’t being creative because you directly said you saw a build and want to copy it. Being creative means looking at what you have and working with it. If you want to copy someone else that’s copying, not being creative. If two people make the same build independently, the are being creative because they were using what they had. If you are just imitating what someone else has already done you aren’t being creative, you’re mimicking, the opposite of being creative. Also noticed you completely avoiding me question about why you made a big point of end game for new players and then claimed end game didn’t matter. I’ll take that as an admission that you were trying to use new players who don’t need mods for end game to cover you being impatient in your desire to use someone else’s idea.

do you not think the current system is bad? What is the difference if players have better access to mods? Does players having a new way to get rare mods effect you at all?

No, I think it’s fine. Mods aren’t that important and seasonal mods should be harder to get outside of the season they’re added. It’s an incentive to play the seasonal content as it should be. A bad system would be making them random drops from nightfalls or even basic strikes. What is it really harming people to have to wait? They might have to be creative themselves? Also all the warming cell mods have been sold already through banshee so if the op didn’t pick them up then then it’s because he doesn’t actually care about creatively using mods. He saw a build he thinks is op and wants to copy it. Catering to players like that simply isn’t what I want Bungie to waste time on when there are other things those resources would be better used for.

Unfortunately waiting isn't something everyone is willing to do and may leave the game having less access to builds. To be fair some of these mods are sold twice a year so a lot of people miss out on them.

If people are going to leave the game because they can’t imitate a build then they are even more the people you shouldn’t cater to. They’re -blam!- players and no game should change to whims of such uncommitted players when there are concerns and requests from dedicated players.
