Scout rifles need a buff with their reserves
They need a buff with reserves at the very least. Even with a reserve mod it's barely worth it since you only gain an increase of 1-2 extra mags.
They should be on the level of Jade Rabbit [url=https://i.imgur.com/tQBmc0G.jpg]reserves[/url]. Having 300+ rounds is nice to have in PvE.
It sucks that we can only get a max amount of ~200 rounds even with a reserve mod. For example [url=https://i.imgur.com/xrws6rK.jpg]Symmetry[/url].
I'm not sure about you but I tend to easily run out of reserves with scouts like Trustee.
Maybe I'm just baked.

The 260 ones - maybe. They go through ammo like nothing. The rest are not bad though. Unless it’s a famine nightfall, then you have to drop kill clip as the ammo reserves get abused.

Are you referring to pvp situations? I don’t use that scout, I find it kind of trash except for activities where a solar scout can be an option. Even then I tend to use arc or void energy weapon and put xeno for the solar damage. Anyway I never found myself out of ammo for any weapon except ikelos smg or weapons that have subsistence roll, which is why I never keep those rolls.

1 ResponderI like trustee a lot, but I've never been a fan of auto scouts. Even Vision of Confluence wasn't great for me, I preferred Fang of Ir Yut. I get at least double (probably triple) the head shots without auto, and the auto scouts are the only ones I've ever had a real problem with ammo reserves with because of it.

I’m currently having some gun with NTTE, but have otherwise only run scouts as my main weapon since the hallowed days of Badger, and I almost never run out of ammo. And I use it for everything except bosses and extreme long range sniper shots. But we do need some decent 150/180 scouts as world drops, since Oxygen SR3 was sunset.

I feel like primary ammo in general needs to just drop constantly with no RNG to it. I've been running out of white ammo in all content much more than ever before, it feels like Famine is on in the background again. I shouldn't be running a strike on heavyweight day and have no primary ammo, few special shots left and no heavy, it makes no sense. Just remove all the primary ammo finder/scavenger perks and increase the drop rate of white bricks. It shouldn't be hard.
