System of a Down Have Released New Music for the First Time in 15 Years

^ This is one of the two new songs they've just uploaded today. I could hardly believe it when I saw the notification but here we are.
There is a sad side to this as well, though. These new songs are intended to raise awareness and funds for an ongoing tragedy in Armenia. This kind of awareness raising is something I've (and all fans of the band have) long respected the band for, and obviously it's great to get new music from them too.
But please, check the songs out! And discuss in this thread too, I guess.

2 RespostasI hope they make lots of money from them, but I don’t think they’re that great as songs. Seem a bit bland and too much like their old stuff, which is kinda the opposite to how they used to make music. It’s nice that they’re doing it for a cause they care about though, I think that’s probably the only way they could have released new music this long after their last album without it looking like one of those cringey reunion releases. Metallica should take note, can they not just die already?
